**CHIEF KEEF**

It's crazy man, I've seen & been around a lot crazy stuff but the whole chiraq epidemic is scary, These kids are really 16-17 dying and killing other people like its nothing, no real value of life. You can see it in their eyes as that this is normal to them & that's the scariest part of it. When did it become normal for 17 year olds to blast other 17 year olds & THEN talk about it, like it's a game. I'm also a hypocrite cause I actually enjoy "drill music" cause of the authenticity & the energy factor but like I've been struggling with it. Everything is cool when things are kept on record. It's cool They can report what's going on in the streets & alleviate stress by talking about past life but when the actual artist is out there killing a 28 cab driver who has a wife & kid & people can feel comfortable saying free ____ on social networks it just bothers me

Now think about the same dynamic of rappers that are 34+ rapping about the **** and they DON'T live it.

**** is all bad.

Seems like a bunch of upcoming rappers who I just see on livemixtapes end up arrested, dead, or killing someone days after I find out about them. Rondo, Doe B, Lil Snype, and I'm sure some others.

Any proof on this besides a tweet?

Anyone else to the point where you don't want to listen to this stuff anymore? Every news article that comes out of Chicago makes me feel worse about listening to Keef and his type. I really can't support it being 25 and an adult who cares about peoples' lives. Not trying to be "holier than thou" or on a high horse... it's just 1. honestly not good music at all, only good for maybe lifting or driving around and 2. perpetuating tragedy, indirectly or directly.

They have video, the gun, fingerprints on the car, and he took down instagram pics of him with a gun at the time he shot the guy.

This. Very aware its innocent until proven guilty but I have a hard time giving you the benefit of the doubt when your taking pics with guns everyday and talking about killing people.

I'm pretty much there. A track here and there catches my interest but they are few and far between. Mostly from Herb/Bibby. 

And that's with any ignorant music. Not just these kids from Chicago.

The older I get...the less I can support that ****. Especially when I can walk outside everyday and see the effect the mentality glorified in the music...has on the youth. In DC...these youngins view Chief Keef as some sort of messiah figure. I got a brother and 5 cousins...all under the age of 22 currently doing time because they got caught up in that lifestyle. Also, two dead from it. 

After a while...you forget about how hard the beats are and the **** starts to hit close to home.

There is zero chance he beats the case, and even if he gets a murder 2 charge it's still unlawful use of a weapon since all guns are illegal in chicago so either way he is gonna be in jail a long time
 
Rondo is done. At this point...they're just waiting for him to snitch on the other trigger man.

I want to hear more about what the motive was. The Tribune article mentioned that it was retaliation from an earlier fight but there has to be more to it. That dude was more than 10 years Rondo's senior. 

This "Free Rondo" campaign on social media is ridiculous.
