Reddick needs a day off. BADLY. I don't care how many HR's he's had this year, just give him a day off. He's lost all of his confidence.

Reddick seriously frustrates me sometimes. He has like an anti-clutch gene or something.

On another note, yeah buddy. 4-2 right now. Hopefully Drew can get a clutch hit.
 
Tyson Ross? Has Melvin lost his mind? I don't care how worked the bullpen is, there is a week and a half of baseball left and we are barely holding onto a playoff spot. We don't have the luxury of conserving the bullpen.
 
Melvin just lost any chance he had at manager of the year today. I want to hear his explanation on why he put this bum *** Ross in a game like this. I'd be shocked if we get out of Texas with a WC spot still.
 
I never want to see Tyson Ross pitch for us again. ****ing piece of ****, **** you and get off my team.

Win 3/4 we'll be two back of them headed with Seattle coming to town, and they got the Angels to deal with after us. Getting at least a split is most important, taking care of business with Seattle and hoping the Angels can win their series against them in the meantime. After that, they come to our house and we gotta take it to them.
 
I don't trust Milone or Blackley. If we could get a split, I would be ecstatic. The Angels have 6 games left against the Mariners but they also have to face Felix twice. What I am worried about is Texas clinching either this series or on Friday against the Angels and resting there starters for that weekend also. I just have a bad feeling...our bullpen and defense doesn't look good and I don't have trust in the starting pitching right now. I really really hope they can prove me wrong because they sure have all year, but I just don't know.

2 game lead is so slim at this point...
 
Melvin's obession with lefty vs. righty matchups drive me crazy sometimes. I know you want to put a lefty up there, but Reddick has been soooo bad for a while now, why bring him up? He just keeps losing more confidence...
 
I don't want to knock Melvin for showing trust in his guys but I'm sorry, this isn't little league. Reddick hasn't delivered in a while, I don't understand how you can put him in there in a crucial situation like that when he has no confidence in himself.
 
^Exactly! Luckily, Kottaras comes through with a blast! Now comes the dreadful bottom of the 9th...
 
Milone really impressed me today. I really don't have much trust in him on the road, but he pitched great. I don't know how many times I can say this but, defense is SO IMPORTANT. We can't afford to be giving away runs and putting our young pitchers through even higher stress innings. Also, Kottaras needs to play everyday, Norris has done absolutely NOTHING to earn playing time.

Hopefully Parker can deliver tomorrow. Lets go!!

Totally agree, the guy continues to come up ridiculously huge in dire situations, I think he deserves to get a shot to start everyday.
 
Offense is going to have to keep putting up runs. Parker not looking sharp at all, 59 pitches (only 33 strikes) in 2 innings. :x And I DO NOT want to have to call on the bullpen this early, this could get messy...
