They still had their OC last nite. THey rushed a decision based on the players but these players aint gonna be here for more then 2 more yrs.

WVA Failed.

WOW!

Who knows? Maybe he can actually coach. If he can bring them back to a BCS game next year, then he did his job.

On the surface it looks like an impulse buy but who knows, maybe Stewart turns out to be the right guy for the job.

I think it was the right decision actually. He has been there, he obviously had these guys playing for him well enough to beat the tails off of Oklahoma. Ifthey have another decent season next year it should make recruiting all that much easier (at least for a couple seasons) and then by then maybe he will startto turn into a household name. All the big name coaches got their start somewhere.

I say good for him. WVU's gotten a raw deal this whole last year in terms of coaches, it's good to see it hasn't made them jaded about the wholesituation. They like the system they have, so why not hire a guy from within that system? Besides, what other big names are really out there for them?

well WVA alum and Arizona DiamondBacks Pres says he feels it was the wrong decision, to paraphrase we had the architect there, we let him leave and we hiredthe painter. I love the guy but he is not the answer. I wish success for the program but Stewart is not the answer.

Wow.

They played out of their minds last night with OUR OC calling the plays. It was the wrong decision. I was thinking Butch Jones would be there. I would bet thatCMU wins the MAC again next year and he gets a big time look.

Damn, that's a good one. I've never heard that before.

I'm really glad it turned out this way; he deserves it after doing what he's done the past few weeks. This team was in disarray for a few reasons, andhe lead them out there last night as prepared as they could be.

The offense should remain pretty well in tact, but the defense will be taking a major hit.

If I was a WVU fan I wouldn't really know how to feel. Seems like they got caught up in the moment and the players wanted Stewart so they just made him HC.So we're gonna have to wait to see how this turns out.

^ yo post up that Kellen picture, it looks cool.

and yeah this was an awful hire. they still had Calvin Magee calling the plays last night. that stops today.

if he can't recruit, this program dies a-la Miami in two-three seasons.
