Scratch a 'lil & yell out "we da best" in between cuts or during a bridge. Got a nice J collection though...

DJ Khaled is Wayne's, Ross' & Drake's tag along, dude doesn't do anything but get a bunch of artists on a record and screams on the top of his lungs.
 
I've always wondered this myself. Dude is garbage and is he really black to be getting the pass to use the N word so damn much. That's what always bugs me out.

From the outside looking in, he may seem like he "tags along" with Ross, Wayne, etc..But in reality He actually boosted Ross's career and put him on the map..And Wayne, baby, ross, etc are featured on HIS SONGS so I don't see how he is a tag along..He is one of the most relevant hip hop DJ in the United States and he has his own label..I know he may seem annoying (which he IS) and like he doesn't do anything but just talk garbage, but Khaled is actually VERY smart and about his business..I've watched him pay his dues and work his way up to the top..He definitely deserves some credit 
 
he doesn't produce any of those hits that come out with him yelling all over them. Those are mostly done by the runners, cool & dre, 40 like someone above said. I'm guessing he's just the middle man who brings all the artists together, pays them and gets rights on the song


I think he used to produce under a separate name, beat novacaine or something like that.

I guess he just produces and promotes people? Kind of annoying now

I always wondered how these DJs managed to get artists on their songs for SO MANY albums.

Drama has like 3 albums

Khaled is coming up on his 4th.

Kay Slay has like what? 2-3?

Why? How? Do they REALLY have connections like that for people to get featured on their records? It just seems so crazy to me...like a pointless investment of the artists time at some times...especially the bigger artists. Do artists still feel indebted to these guys?

If nothing else, it seems like they sell a lifestyle.
...which I guess is the music industry in a nutshell.
 
Man, Khaled been putting in work since 97 at the crib. He was one of the hottest DJ's, coming out with that straight heat that nobody else had back in the day. He's annoying on tracks, but he's earned where he is right now. He's no different from Clue, Flex, or any other radio/mixtape based DJ.
