Why is D Wade soo hated on NT?

The guy is a very fundamental Player! i know you guys call him D whistle and other names but i dont understand y he gets soo much hate. He doesnt blow thewhistle himself the refs do, so they should get the hate not him. He does everything within his abilities! He doesnt shoot 3's, Hes a good mid rangeshooter, great penetration to the basket, great passer, solid defender, and the guy gets to the line more than some teams on any given night. I think he is agreat all around Bball player and if he was on your favorite team you would love him! I know id take him on the bulls over Ben Gordon any day of the week!!
 
LeBron and D. Wade are my favorite players from the younger generation and if you look at the stats....unfortunately LeBron has taken 200 more free throw shotsthan D. Wade....so I don't understand why the hate on D. Wade...also....D. Wade's FG percentage is 48%....Knows how to take it to the hole and getpoints for his team...
 
only reason is because most people here are on Lebrons you know what and dont give credit where credit is due. wade is not my favorite player but i dont have aproblem with him and i think hes one of nba's best players

My perspective on how others feel...I don't hate Wade. I think he's been overrated some (alot of yall was GASSED in 05 saying he was better than Lebronand Kobe)...but I don't hate the guy.

1 - Once Shaq showed up in Miami...he became the anti-Kobe. Everyone, especially the media...immediately become the comparisons and were quick to point outWade's benevolent relationship with Shaq and his teammates...something Kobe didnt have. Everything perceived wrong with Kobe...was right with Wade. GivenKobe's fan base (an EXTREME amount who hate him...but maybe an even larger amount who love him)...that didnt sit quite well. Shaq didnt make it any betterfor Wade with his comments discussing the two either. So many fans dislike for Shaq...inevitably went to Wade. He inherited hate...sort of.

2 - His relationship with referees. Every star gets star treatment...but the 05 championship went BEYOND star treatment.
 
maybe its me but i dont see whats funny about watching a grown man in pain.

but i understand why some people dont like d wade (you cant touch him,) but at the same time, dood does something that makes you say "did he just makethat?" almost every game.

I agree that there should be nothing funny about it, but the wheelchair was OD. However, when you have guys like Alonzo Mourning walking off the court with acareer-ending knee injury, and (hockey) Gary Roberts REFUSING to go off on a stretcher with a broken leg, it makes your appreciate the toughness/warriormentality that SOME athletes are born with.

However, when you have guys like Alonzo Mourning walking off the court with a career-ending knee injury, and (hockey) Gary Roberts REFUSING to go off on a stretcher with a broken leg, it makes your appreciate the toughness/warrior mentality that SOME athletes are born with.

i agree but d whistle coulda wimped out the rest of the season but he opted not to have the surgery so he could defend his title. if you want to talk aboutOD, thats Tmac getting carted off on a stretcher b/c of back spasms. i turned to sportscenter thinkin he fell TJ ford style

He should be nicknamed Judas Traveller, for all the traveling he does when he makes his patent spin move.
 
Don't forget LeBron sitting out with a sprained knuckle on his non-shooting hand for 2 weeks.

anyway i just hate him becuase any time he goes to the basket, its an automatic foul. i remember one game against the wolves, he shot like 4-20 from the fieldbut 18-20 from the line. that is just stupid
 
I just dont like him because he's overrated. And he get's too many foul calls. He's a pretty good player tho.

The Dwayne Wade Traveling Circus

The patented penetration spin move is so blatantly a travel it's a pock mark on the league that it is not called a traveling violation every time he doesit. There's video of Wade getting 5 steps on this spin move for crying out loud. He does the hop step twice in one video for the 5 step no call. He usesthat hop step in the midst of the move almost every time generating steps 2 and 3 and then the fourth step is the last one to get a layup.

The worst part, Heat fans thinking it's not a travel and the overall attempt they make to discredit critics that decry the favoritism the NBA has shown toWade.
 
Its not his fault he gets the superstar treatment though! thats what i dont understand! Y dont u hate the refs not him! he does what it takes for his team towin! please dont tell me about traveling, everytime lebrons got a breakaway dunk dude takes like 5 steps minimum! but thats besides the point! if D wade was onyour favorite team and they were in the championship game with a few seconds left and he drives and draws a foul as time expired and he goes to the line andwins the game, you would be swingin from this mans nether regions!!
 
On a breakaway, you're lucky if one official is back to see the play. In the half court all three officials are watching the action.

The NBA did start calling his crossover dribble a carry last season. Surprise, the Heat were swept in the 1st round.
