So true!

i hope these change my and your minds when are implemented in shoes

So you are posting a pic without any explanation or anything?

I think my favorite shoes ever to ball in were the Lebron 2 and Jordan Black Cat 4. All this fancy tech is all marketing and gimmicks.

Guys, I'm sure the "+" is in reference to the new nike plus they're going to implement next year for their basketball shoes. I can't remember where I first read it, but if I find it I'll post the link.
Edit: Found it.

Nike is expanding its Nike+ program to target more than just joggers and runners. The company has revealed Nike+ Basketball, which works together with an iPhone or iPod touch to track "how high, how hard and how quick" you play on the court. Unfortunately the company doesn't specify exactly what's recorded, but the system will use whatever data it collects to set goals for you to complete and to rank how well you perform. Those rankings will be shared on leaderboards with your friends that are designed to make you train harder thanks to the subtle persuasion of competition. If you've got the ups, the "Showcase" feature of the app records a video of you dunking and superimposes the data it collects onto your footage. The first sneakers to be part of the program are the Nike Hyperdunk+ (above), which will be available come June 29th at an unspecified cost. If your vertical leap is lacking, the Nike+ Training app, which works in conjunction with the Nike+ app lets you record your gym stats, set goals, score points, and compete with friends. It doesn't sound wholly unlike Nike's own FuelBand (or the Fitbit Ultra andJawbone Up), but there's a difference: the Nike+ Training shoes have specific workouts and challenges that are displayed on your phone while you train. Like Nike+ Basketball, users are rated on their performance, and there's a leaderboard that's designed to push you to train harder when you see a buddy has topped your score. It sounds like a service that will appeal to those who are less interested in geeking out with the metrics of your workout and more interested in turning training into a point-based game.

The first Nike+ Training shoes will be the Nike Lunar TR-1+ for men and the Lunar Hyper Workout+ for women (pictured below), which, like the Hyperdunk+ sneakers, will be released in the US, UK, France, Germany, and China come June 29th. No word on pricing, but we're sure they'll carry a hefty premium over their non-digital cousins.

Colorways save the shoe game period. Imagine if every shoe just had a white version and a black version, would you still be into shoes? most likely no.

What colorways did to the 9's for most people was turn an "ugly" shoe into a sought after shoe.  I hope the 10's aint the same way.  Just Sayin.

You seem to be a shoe techie like me but I dont think the Zoom inside the Air Max will be that great and it definitely isnt worth an $80 dollar price increase.

I don't care about paying 300 for the shoe as long as it eliminated the reseller market. Not sure if it will though.

^ So instead of having to pay resell on a couple pairs a year, you'd rather pay that premium on every pair? Makes no sense at all.

it could be great, impact protection of air max and the softness of full length zoom (replacingt most of the "hard" columns used in air maxes with zoom air)??!.... that can potentially be comfort breakthrough.  And who would be the best person that could use that tech in his shoes to match his game.....??? Lebron.

Gotta agree with this. I actually like the ix from the start. I haven't been a fan of brons since the ii, but I liked the ix cause its got a hyperfuse look to it and I love fuses. Most people hated the ix until chinas/cannons showed up. The colorways are on point, but id say it's like 80% colorways sellin the shoe. Would be nice to see the X as a solid shoe and colorways push it further.

That makes absolutely no sense... Y'all ain't even being logical anymore...

Been hating on Lebron lately as a player and haven't bought a Lebron in forever. Gave in to the 9s and now I think I'm back hooked onto his shoes. Still hate him as a player.

I agree 100%, as long as a shoe has good traction and comfort what more should you need? When it boils down to it, it's up to the baller to put in work in the gym, "technology" can only help you do much.
Gonna second the above. Nike's going full out with the gimmicks today - and the price point keeps rising. Eventually the whole cycle might come around full circle and the 'latest tech' will be a shoe with a full grain leather upper and forefoot/heel Air.

@ 300 you ARE paying reseller prices. It's okay as long as it's NIKE charging that, right?

Guys like you are prob the ones that are ok with waiting for a shoe in the cold a day before it comes out too. That ****in stupid to me but you don't hear me condemning it via NT. The bottom line is this. It's simple economics, if Nike makes the shoe cost more...which I didn't say I was a fan of, I just said I didn't mind, it will create a buyers market again. It will reduce if not eliminate camping out and reduce the resellers market as well. This is why we don't see lines at the Louis vuitton store waiting to buy a $465 belt. Yeah, belts and shoes are different but the economics are the same.

I think the gist of what I am saying is, I want the camping, lotteries and reselling to stop. I am not sure of how or if that can happen but if they were that price then the market upon initial release would shrink and I know nobody is gonna pay resellers double, or 100 more or whatever. That's it dude.
