ROSHE ONE (NOT for RUNNING) - FAQs (pg1) (NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!!!)

Question on women's sizing; so far I've only bought women's in 12, would the difference of dropping to 11.5 to a major notice ? (Speaking of width and not the length of the shoe)
help please

If you can even find an 11.5. They don't really do half sizes so big. It's a half size difference just like it would be if it was a men's shoe, so if you can fit a 10 mens(11.5 womens), then you should be fine. The width wouldn't change unless it says it on the box.

hypebeasts mad cause they got played, there were talks of a re-release happening a while ago.

all i want to know is if cybers are going to release again since they're my go to pair

welp time to wear the **** outa my calypso and sirens before everybody and their cousin has em :frown: at least they aren't restocking Stadium Greens so i can at least feel somewhat different.. all good though

side note though, you guys really don't understand why people with the soon-to-be-restocked pairs would be somewhat salty about this?? did you become a sneaker-head because you like wearing the same shoes as the next guy? No. I guess maybe you wanted to fit in, but for me the goal is the complete opposite. My choice of kicks allows me to be different. So why would I want more people to have the same shoe i have? Gotta stop assuming everybody with a pair of Calypsos is a reseller. What's wrong with wanting to have a different pair of kicks on my feet than the people around me? That's what i'm more concerned about, not a profit.
So basically your saying if a shoe is mass produced and you like it, you wont buy them because too many people have them?  smh..

the people getting upset are the ones that came in way late on the roshe train and think that the calypsos and sirens were some type of limited release

Calypsos were.

Sirens sat for awhile at many spots, but that could just reflect the LA demographic.

Don't get it twisted @ebee wah people became sneaker enthusiast because they liked certain shoes, it's story, the history, etc. Back then it was a highly underground culture so the importance of having rarity, or standing apart didn't matter to most cuz usually nobody else collected, except for a handful. The notion of chasing rare, rather then what you like came in the SB/hypebeast era.

I can respect nowadays that's how it is. But if you really want to be different Roshes aren't the shoes you should be buying cuz they're EVERYWHERE! But I see you like em, but want to stand apart. So why not NikeID a pair, instead of buying rare releases? Oh cuz theres no rarity huh?

Calypsos were at Nike stores for a while after selling out online. I ordered mine probably a month after they released and there were a decent amount of stores that had size 11 available at the time.

Kinda depends on the width of your foot. I usually wear mens Sz 11 and copped a Sz 12 in womens and it's kinda snug width wise. Dropping to an 11.5 would be way too small I think.

Everywhere, or just your location? Cuz I never saw the Calypsos once in store anywhere in LA when they released.

I can fit a men's 10, i wear 10.5 to give that extra space. so it should be good for me since not foot isn't wide

They should re-release or release to the states these, one of my favorites

For whoever owns a pair of roshe boots, how are they? Do they keep your feet warm and what kind of material is on the toe box?  Im thinking of picking up a pair for fall/winter cause they seem perfect for weather here in the bay, but i'll pass if they're not worth it.

I'm not surprised that the Calypsos didn't sit at Nike LA or any other boutique in LA. They didn't sit here either at Nike SF. I'm sure it all depends on your location—I had to phone order my Calypsos at Nike Dallas and it was the last size 10.5 (the display pair). This was April 2012.

Just did these for a friend. What do you guys think? (women's Black/Anthracite-Arctic green CW)
Hey man, really dig these. Actually I am really looking for all black roshe runs. I cant recognize it properly on the computer screen but are the shoes now full black ? I am planning on copping these Black/Mint and paint it to black but I am really not sure if the sole and the nike logo are indeed black or anthracite?!

I did a chat with a Nike rep online and they gave me a list of Nike stores at the time that had my size. I think I ordered them from a Nike running store in CT.

They are more like the top picture you posted. They look more black than anthracite. Obviously they look different from the mesh as they are different material. All I did was paint the mint tabs. Hope this helps.

Oh ok. So you had the same shoes and painted the mint to black? And the sole and swoosh are in black right? Because I want to have a full black shoe at the end.

I'm in Cali, and I phone ordered mine from West NY. Real cool folks up there too.

So I'm really after those metrics women size 11 .

I finally found a pair after emailing dozens of people and the dude straight up asked for 500 GBP. Which equals to 800 dollars. haha

I then told him there's no way in hell i would pay that even though I want them bad and a couple minutes later it was 250 GBP. Which is 400 dollars. And he's not willing to go any lower than that...

I've looked everywhere from instagram, to bigcartel shops, to chinese sites, to japanese sites and i can't find any in my size. Please help me find those or I'm gonna be tempted to deal with this unreasonable guy.
