To me this game is as much a tossup as all the other bowl games.

Kansas hasn't beaten a legit team this season but with the way the seasons gone anybody can win this game.

I think VT defense will step up and Eddie Royal will have a big game on returns

We'll look like the weakest conference in the country if VT cant win this one, I'm not just talkin about BCS conferences
 
Has all the makings of another BCS bowl game over before half time.

I personally dont see Kansas' being able to do enough offensively.

But we shall see.

I am going to say VT's running game keeps the ball out of Kansas' hands enough to get the win.
 
Brandon McAnderson and Marcus Henry are gonna be really important to the Kansas offense tonight, especially Henry. VA Tech's rush defense is too good, soMcAnderson is gonna have to make something happen on the ground. Henry is gonna have to have a huge game receiving against a pretty solid VA Tech pass defense.Kansas didn't show up until it was too late against their last real test, so hopefully they come to play tonight.

I think this game is gonna be a lot closer than people think though. Even though Kansas's schedule wasn't too great, they still took care of business,which a lot of other schools couldn't do. They put up numbers damn near every game, and finished the season 6th in total offense and 14th in total defense.

I got VA Tech winning though.

But then again, I also had the USC/Illinois and Georgia/Hawai'i games being played a lot closer than they really were...
 
No one is giving us a chance and I think that we are going to play with a chip on our shoulder. Based on that I think we will be focused and ready to play.I think whatever team can shake off the rest and get going early is really going to have the advantage. As long as we can keep the game close and our defensecan get good field position for the offense we will have a chance.

I've had a good bowl season so far, so I'm going to put a bill down on Kansas just off of a feeling. I don't know why, I just feel it.
 
this will be a good game.... kansas has a good offense and vt has goo defense and special teams.... go kansas in a close victory
 
how the hell do you get suspended for ONLY the 1st Quarter?

I just turned on the game and missed all of the pre-game discussions. Who got suspended?

Haha Tyrod is getting attacked back there. Nothing like 2 sacks in a row.

I'm surprised 40 didn't get a 15 yarder right there for that late hit though.
 
VT should blow them out, but I think Coach Pillsbury got them Jayhawks ready to go. This might be the closest BCS game.
