Every so often it's fun to just sit down, throw some good music on and build some nice sets of Legos. No better way to de-stress or clear your kind IMO.

I wish I had some around. Used to love it as a kid.

Crazy expensive though, I went to the Lego Store in NYC and couldn't believe it

i got a shoe box full, been meaning to throw on ebay cause i see the little guys fetch some nice prices, but idk been lazy

I had a nice "plain" set when I was younger. Do they even still sell "plain" sets? Not the gimmick based ones, ie...Star Wars or any other themed sets. And where would I be able to find them?

I still have a bunch of mine in my closet, Most in a Apple speaker box, A Converse shoe box, and others outside of boxes just catching dust.

Last time I played with mine was about 2 or 3 years ago.

Yea, They're mad expensive though.

When I was a kid my parents sometimes would get me the bootleg Legos and I'd be like

at how cheap they'd look and felt.

Mos def trying to build some stuff while being on one.

I always wanted to get those international monuments like the Taj Mahel and Eiffel Tower.

between all my brothers I think we had 20 years worth of legos from the very beginning of the brand to the classic Star wars of course

Im 31 and always come across legos on the low. I want to cop but then I remember im 31 and live by myself. It would look weird to the ladies. They already think im weird cause i dont drink or smoke.

I wish I still had the time ,space and money for lego sets. These plus a special glue in a office equals set display pieces.

This put a smile on my face

I have 2 full storage box's of them in my closet. I haven't touched since I was maybe 12, should probably get around to donating them. Do kids still play with it?

theres always ebay.. but the new sets are kinda boring, i mean completely takes away from imagination. new legos are basically like assembling furniture ah something.. looks at box, gets instructions, follows them few hours later and finished product.

Couldn't really get to finishing these

But yes, these sure are still tempting to cop these days. The price though

Fortunately kids still have and do play with Legos despite the numerous gaming systems out there.

I think OP was looking for the word "assemble" not "play". I would assume some NTers in this thread are over 20 and "playing" with Legos would be hilarious

but I bought my nephew a whole slew of the lego creator sets.  It's actually fun for me as well.  The architecture series is pretty nice but they cost so damn much.

Yeah, the Architecture series is nice. I just don't believe the price tag is worth it. Also, my next Lego project probably will be of the Volkswagen Camper Van. This thing is ridiculously detailed.
