Here is how I see this off season playing out... Hopefully.
Peyton Manning is the first chip that will have to fall in one of two places for everything to go down. Hint: He's not playing in the NFC. Period.
If Peyton ends up in Miami:
- Miami will end up drafting Tannehill in the second round, and signing Reggie Wayne
- (Because Flynn won't be a Free Agent going into the draft) Cleveland will end up signing Matt Flynn in FA before Draft Day. Drafting Blackmon on Draft Day.
- Seattle WON'T Trade up to get a QB and the Rams won't trade the number 2 pick within the division.
- Redskins end up picking up Orton for a 2 year; 8 million dollar deal and drafting RG3, without sacrificing the Draft.
If Peyton ends up with the Jets (which has been reported as a team Peyton wants to play for more than the Jets want him to play for them):
- Miami will STILL end up with Tannehill
- (Because Flynn won't be a Free Agent going into the draft) Cleveland will end up signing Matt Flynn in FA before Draft Day. Drafting Blackmon on Draft Day.
- Because the Jets can't afford to have both Sanchez AND Manning, the Jets will trade Sanchez to Seattle, reuniting him with his college coach and a running game that hasn't been present in NYJ recently which led to Sanchez being exposed.
- Redskins end up picking up Orton for a 2 year; 8 million dollar deal and drafting RG3, without sacrificing the Draft.
The first chip is Manning. The second chip is Flynn. if Cleveland ends up with Flynn, the Redskins will end up drafting RG3 for much less than the Rams are asking for with the number 2 pick. They should sign Orton. and keep the possible deal with the Rams on the table all the way up to the day prior to the draft. Until the day of the draft, the Skisn should keep their intentions unknown, but at all cost draft RG3 as the new franchise QB.

P.S. The last two years, any and all issues as far as management have been solely on Tanahan. Snyder actually has did nothing but sign the checks of who Tanahan and Allen wanted to bring in, as opposed to just going after big name players. Yes, he has a history of overpaying bad talent. But let's give him credit for the last two seasons.
