That's awesome man. Isn't it crazy how at a certain point within your progression of awareness you can look back at your journey and really connect all the dots? As if it really is by some grand design.

My friend put me on to Osho which lead me to finding Sadhguru. So real. So down to earth. You can see it in their eyes that they are not frauds.

I'm actually up in Norcal near Oakland. I go to San Diego to visit my cousin a few times a year, though.
Most definitely. When I first started my journey as a young adult I wanted that instant gratification. 20 years doing yoga?! WHAT? Nah, I got this. I'm special. Then life happened, here I am ten years later still in the beginning stages of my own journey. I am understanding the need to have a childlike mind; a mind that is both empty and full. I believe that when I make progress it creates more opportunities, more time here for me to pursue my life's purpose. I see that you are either decaying or growing. I find the pleasure of the present moment opposed to worrying about past mistakes or future possibilities. It is only after I step outside "myself" that I can start to see the bigger picture. I can start to see that I am much more than who I think I am, where I live, what I have. I feel like as long as I do my part, the universe will do it's part as well.

I haven't followed much of Osho's work. I am reading a book of his at the moment titled Body Mind Balancing. Any other suggestions?

NorCal! I haven't even left LA county since I moved here other than a lone trip to Las Vegas. I really want to get up north one of these days though. My travel abilities are limited at the time due to my dialysis treatments but seeing the Redwoods, Yosemite, Mt. Shasta, Lake Tahoe and driving up PCH are bucket list items for sure. One day

The Foremost Quality of a Spiritual Seeker

Questioner: Sadhguru, what should be the foremost quality of a seeker?

Sadhguru: If you are a genuine seeker, that’s all that is needed. If your seeking is the only quality you have, that is definitely the most important thing. Most of the seekers are only off-and-on seekers. In 24 hours, how many of you are even conscious of your seeking, and how many moments?

“No, no, I have done so many programs. I even did 55 days of Hata Yoga.” What you did yesterday is not the point. This happened to Charles M. Schwab. Schwab became one of the big steel magnates on the planet at one time. Before he stood on his own feet, he was working for Andrew Carnegie, another great entrepreneur. One day, he sent a telegram to Carnegie, saying, “Yesterday, we broke all the records.” So immediately, Carnegie sent back a message, “But what are you doing today?”

That’s all I am asking you – what are you doing today? People think, “Sadhguru…no compassion in him. It doesn’t matter what we have done, once again he is asking, ‘What have we done today?’” Because if you are a seeker, what you were yesterday doesn’t mean anything to you. “What have you done today?” is the whole thing. The psychological survives, nourishes and flourishes on the past. The existential is of the now.

Unless you are truly concerned about what you are doing today and how you are right now, how can you still be a seeker? “No, I have been a seeker for 10 years.” – That doesn’t mean anything. Are you a seeker now? Because the existential is only now. The rest is all psychological. I see a lot of past seekers. They have been seekers for 25, 30 years – veterans. What to do with that? Only if someone is hungry now, you can serve them food, isn’t it? If someone is alive now, you can feed them. Somebody was – what can you do with them? So if your seeking is in the past tense, it doesn’t mean anything. Are you a seeker now, right now? If you are, that is what means most to me because only then can I do something with you. If you are a past seeker, we are just neighbors. If you are a seeker now, I have something to do with you right now.

@chopper havent seen whether you posted on here if youve done any psychedelics, but curious what you didn't enjoy. Also if you have heard other things from Dennis Mckenna or heard any terrance mckenna talks, or from people like graham hancock ect.

Haven't heard of those people. Tripped 30+ times. Dude said a whole lot of nothing. Nada. Zilch. Be honest.

The Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See to the United States is the diplomatic mission of the Holy See to the United States. It is located at 3339 Massachusetts Avenue Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Embassy Row neighborhood.[1] The current Apostolic Nuncio is Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, who was named to the position by Pope Benedict XVI on 19 October 2011.

The Apostolic Nunciature to the United States of America is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in the United States, with the rank of an embassy. The nuncio serves both as the ambassador of the Holy See to the President of the United States, and as delegate and point-of-contact between the Catholic hierarchy in America and the Pope (as head of the church). The office of Apostolic Nuncio is currently always assigned to titular archbishops. The nunciature to the United States is considered a highly important post and therefore is normally filled by a very experienced Vatican diplomat; historically nuncios to the United States have often been elevated to the rank of Cardinal in consistory shortly after their service, and been given senior posts within the Vatican itself.

right on time.

Picked up The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle at a used book store and this video resonates with what I've been reading lately..

With the JRE I tend to lean more towards the consciousness, psychedelic, life stories in general for podcast guests he has on. I know many people have beef with Aubrey coming on the show pushing new products or telling some crazy new experience he had in the jungle. I enjoy him as a guest though or at least his stories about tripping. This video is a solocast he did after another trip session in the jungle. It's a short podcast, pretty much straight to the point but I enjoyed listening to it.

In 1555, Nostradamus wrote:

Come the millennium, month 12
In the home of greatest power,
The village idiot will come forth
To be acclaimed the leader.

Thought that was funny

^^^That's around the time I stopped being a religious listener of the Joe Rogan podcast.

I have to thank Joe for assisting me in my journey. He was really the biggest influence on me, but after around episode 400 or his tone changed and I feel like it got a little commercial and really I got more drawn in to the content of Aubrey Marcus and Duncan more so than Joe.

Still appreciate him, though.
