^ you seem to be infatuated with the idea of being a dj but what I've learned from all of my dj friends that it's all about the music...that's why keeps them going and that's the foundation for it. I didn't read you mention the music once but imp that the engine. If you aren't absolutely in love with the music you shouldn't be a dj

This is why this thread is important, and in general talking about and exchanging stuff. I wrote that post sort without thinking and you pointed out something that further details what i was feeling. In my case and realizing it now i like to know how things work and djing happend to be another thing i came across and at the time when i first came across an actual dj i noticed they were using a laptop which at the time was still very new and me liking computers and generall tech saw the two together and in retrospec wanted to know what was happening and how it was working. Its funny also thinking back to that event which was a friends sweet 16 i and a couple others felt that he wasnt that good during the party and i felt i could have chossen better music, which is a funny Inclenation alot of people seem to have across many aspects. What stands out to me is who many people dont have a grasp on themselves and live their lives going through all kinds of feelings, thoughts and emotions and don't really understand why and the lack of insight leads them down a path that may not have been the intended route, i look at it as the universe giving you lessons and answers to questions you may have and its on the individual to do on their behalf the job of being aware and noticing what is happening and from that capatilize and do and actually get a chance to live and enjoy life given the circumstances in which they were born into.

at one point, when i was struggling the most as a trader i thought about quitting, but then i thought back to my life, the omens if you will and they all pointed to me being a trader. in grammar school we did a stock market game. my dad used to try to get me into stocks as a kid but i never did. i connected with wiz on here, all those little things kept telling me to just gut it out, keep trying and eventually it would work. i still have a ways to go in my journey as a trader, but due to my hard work and ability to just stay positive, i've improved and realized how much i love this game. same goes for me as a writer. my neighbor is an english teacher and writer, his daughter is a publicist, this chick i went to hs with that i almost borked back in the day works for a major publishing company, when it's something your meant to do, the omens are there to remind you to stick it out when it gets tough.

I subscribe to that philosophy also about gutting out the tough times, and its funny cause thats all i kept thinking these last years like one day itll come but like @japejapejape pointed out about my post, that i never once mentioned music was right. In my example all the greats all say the same things its all about the music if you don't like music its not for you. And i enjoy all different kinds of music but now all i listen to is podcast. And i was in a way lieing to myself in thinking djing is what i really want to do when what i liked about it was just the tecnical part and how mixing music worked instead of enjoying the music side of it. In a way i consider myself a reductionist cause i like to pick things apart and see how they work and the art of mixing music happend to be another thing i came across. I was 17 at that party i was at where djing caught my attention before then i had absolutely no idea about djing and what caught my attention was seeing the laptop being used and at that time it was in the early stages of laptops being intergrated into the dj workflow. And just like im sure it happens with many they mistake thoughts or feelings from what they actually are and go down paths thinking one narrative or creating a narrative when its just not whats their thing. And through that experience of finally getting my foot in the door and having an actual gig i learned soon after that it wasnt what i actually really wanted to do. its sort of a reason why i streesed and always believed on getting to know oneself better cause you literally have all the answers to any of your questions about yourself. And atleast in my experience i dont think its a coincidence that a common shared experience of mushrooms or other psychedelic is importance of the self and major insight. And all this time when i felt my gut saying clearly it wasnt for me there was a reason why it was happening, and for many people they come to these realizations and it ruins them or brings them down in a way, i feel that i learned a valuable lesson and feel better about it in the process.

Yeah I feel you man. I used to think I wanted to get into acting and filmmaking, but never pushed through with it since it just didn't feel right. It felt like a forced passion. These other two, they're something I truly love. Sometimes you need to take that step back, go inward and think what is really best for yourself.

Something that i've harboring on and internally debating is those people who think the answer is a revolution and others who think the answer is an evolution. If i have to part of a camp i guess it would be the evolution in conciousness camp. I have this debate because i can only speak on my experiences and outlook on life and philosophies and obviously others experience and view life differently. Even with me having the evolutionary sort of view i feel conclusively that life and the current state of the collective conciousness and the current paradigm is the way it is for a reason, and some would probably say thats a sort of cop out but thats my feeling. But putting my conclusion aside what are your guys thoughts on whether if there has to be one the change should be either a revolution or an evolution.

one of the themes of the novel I'm working on is people doing the right thing to do the right thing. if we all stopped and just thought about each other instead of being so selfish, if we were all helpful and willing to live with love instead of bickering and letting ourselves be divided, we'd live in a utopia. revolution will destroy the planet. you don't achieve peace and unconditional love through violence.

To give more insight on why i feel the two are seperate is because a revolution atleast in the way i see it would get rid of one system and replace it with another that the incoming system or paradigm will almost certainly have flaws and may not be the answer. Where as an evolution in conciousness will help with people first fixing themselves and as a collective apply a change if one does occur and makes the individuals for lack of a better term, better people maybe the entire world would be better off but because there isnt a way to test or prove these theories on a mass scale i guess somehow things will remain somehow as is to a certain extent or maybe a whole different kind of paradigm which was impossible before to consider or even conceive. Either way feel it would provide for good conversation.

i'm trying to inspire people with this novel to take that change in perspective and to stop caring about the lower vibration crap and start seeing the bigger picture. it's not impossible for us as a society to change the way we live and start doing things correctly, we just need to wake up and stop thinking solely about ourselves.

I'm trying to wake people up to some of the dumb stuff they do and at the same time inspire them to transcend failure and continue chasing their dreams. one of the themes is failure is necessary to get better since you're given the means for the solution through it. my only worry is it might be too preachy at times but ill fix that in the editing process.

my whole thing has been i could write this great mystery novel lets say and entertain you for a week or i could inspire you for a lifetime. thats my goal here.

nice, thats f***** awesome bro. sign me up. real talk, make sure you see it thru to fruition.

it's all about creating, g.

thanks man, i'll try to remember to send it to you guys if you want when I'm finished and I ship it out to publishers or whatever. I've got 60 pages written so far, just under 18,000 words. should get it done by December that's been the goal.

This is one of the reasons why i have those kinds of internal debates, cause this is something i live by, but i also think about the idea of utopian and its like would a perfect society even have those issues, and then i have thoughts about how much of failing and figuring things out is a fundamental part of the human experience, then to make myself going even crazier with these thoughts i ponder is it fundamental because of how crazy this current paradigm in society is and so many things examples in life show so much through a sort of emotional and mental psedo graduation process. I have these kinds of mental and philosophical debates with myself all the time and man does it feel good to be able to actually talk to others about some of these things and theories and ideas i think about. I ultimately decide were never going to know and that there may not be an answer and it is the part of the human to want to know and be in control and the fear of the unknown and unabswerable or uncontrollable. Im cool with there not being solutions but its awesome to ponder and discuss possibilities and hypotheticals. On that note one love familia.

johnnyredstorm johnnyredstorm - I would love to check it out when you're done, brotha. I'm a heavy reader (I'm sure there are plenty in this thread) so I'm always looking for new reads.

by the way, does anybody have any dope new book recommendations?

I am currently reading War God: Return Of The Plumed Serpent, the second (of three installments), by Graham Hancock. His epic novel on the conquest of Mexico. the first one was fire. about 80 pages into this second one. :nerd:

Many of us have heard instances where two different chorus groups are singing two different parts of the same song at the same time. Perhaps, the most commonly recognized example of this is in the song “Row Your Boat.”

The other day it occurred to me that this singing approach may have been introduced to stimulate a Quantum Singularity in the brain of the listener.

A quantum singularity is an energetically charged, yet very localized, portion of space with a powerful gravitational pull. It’s sort of like a vagina at the moment of orgasm. The singing technique—not necessarily the song itself—opens up a swirling Black Hole in the center of the listener’s head to pull in energy or even higher information from the cosmos like a satellite dish.

This style of singing is effective for that specific purpose because it induces a STATE OF TRANCE  in the listener, which allows them to depart from the Thinker without and reunite with the Knower within who does not have to think because they are always standing within the answer to every question imaginable all at once, at any given moment.

Interestingly enough, I did some research to see what this style of singing I’ve become curious about is called. I found that it’s called a “round.” That’s right, a round. Black holes, quantum singularities, and Stargates are often circular or “round.”

We can musically seduce the entire world into loving us again by infusing people with invisible, healing particle-wave medicine from beyond the circles of space-time perception.

The melodic repetition of phrases in mathematically symmetrical vocal patterns  can also open up this  energy portal I’ve described in the listener’s brain.

I was listening to “Hollywood” by Chaka Khan where she repeats “He’s on his way/he’s goin’ to Hollywood/he's bussin’ it to Hollywood/ Show him the way/He’s movin’ to Hollywood/He’s hoppin’ it to Hollywood.”  She beautifully repeats this numerous times near the end of the song. Check it out.

This is the vocal equivalent of stirring a pot of water with a spoon to create a whirlpool effect. In the center of a whirlpool there is an opening where anything can be sucked in (boats, spices, directions, orders for programming or reprogramming). I call this whirlpool effect a “Trance Formation,” since you are formatting your consciousness through a musically-induced trance.

Imagine reversing the spread of cancer by reprogramming rapidly reduplicating cells to replicate at a healthy rate by stimulating this whirlpool effect in each individual cell through music.

The steady dumbing down of contemporary Black music can drive us further and further away from the science of music and its healing potential. Artistic integrity is more important today than it has ever been. Only when the technician becomes an artist can they truly be considered a scientist.

To be a scientist you must be inspired and driven by a grand vision that far exceeds what is in your immediate environment or frame of reference. The drive comes from within. The inspiration comes afterwards from beyond the circle.

I just picked up The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching by Thich Nhat Hanh. Gonna read that later.

Nice, let us know how it is.

This is the kind of reframing of things that should be done and exposed more. Cause this very article can be taken and change a couple of things around and turn it into something about the illuminati using this to control your mind through music and heres how it works and what not. All about prespective.

you had me at chaka khan.

What would you guys consider to be the pinnacle taking all things you know and having to create a scale of some sort. Being into alot of theories in physics like our universe being a bubble in a multitude of other unimaginable universes with possible properties we can even fathom. Then things like non local conciousnes, deities that are described to be encountered under dmt or ayuaska, and travelling to other dimensions. Is it just to hard and mind melting sometimes to even conceptualize something like a order in the universe and beyond and in between.
