i had a sz9 in my cart but it was saying $300 shipped instead of $250 shipped so i emptied the cart, so maybe it'll pop back up for someone

The value that the seller declares is the value that the customs fee will be determined from. If the item is sent as a gift, which a retailer did for me on a pair of boots, the seller can determine their own value. If they don't send it as a gift, then the value that they will declare is the total value you were charged (retail + VAT + shipping). Most of these stores will actually use the gift option when you are just buying something from their store on any old day, so that you will buy from them. But on shoes like this they know they are going out the door either way, so the customer service is never as good and they give their policy and stick with it for everyone.
If your package is not inspected, you don't get any customs at all though. That is the portion that is hit and miss

^I don't get these posts. Look at past auction in ebay see what your size sold for, look on craigslist see what people are selling them for, and then calculate your profit after fees if any.
