Official Air Jordan 11 Retro "Bred" - The aftermath.... No Buying/Selling/Trading

Is it the special box with the insert? or just the insert with a regular box?....If it's just the insert then

. It just makes the shoe more bootleg if it's just an insert with a regular box. IMO

exactly. the insert doesnt even have the text on it "tinker made them shine, etc"

"Promo" just sounds much better than "Factory Variants" "Fake", and/or "Replicas"

Seriously though, the infatuation with buying shoes earlier than everyone is getting silly.

Why risk it? Especially the ones who still buy a pair on release date.
This.

I see that some things never change, despite the Concord fiasco.  This thread continues to serve as a good source of comedy.

You know d*mn well I wouldn't be purchasing shoes if I got fired/laid off. I would go as far as selling my shoes to help me and my family get through.

Then by the same argument, you weren't in a position to afford them in the first place.

If shoes are your safety net, then you are either too broke to be buying expensive shoes or should be allocating your disposable income with a more long-term-oriented goal in mind.

...Look, anybody who wants to get on their high horse and tell somebody else the appropriate way to spend their money can do so. At the end of the day, these are all luxury items that NOBODY needs. It's not your position or mine to tell somebody whether they should or should not be buying a pair of shoes unless they are asking you to help them manage their money.

My point is that we are all at the mercy of somebody else's judgment. I own my home. Own my my car outright. I have multiple savings accounts, investments, and healthy retirement accounts. I live in a two-income household with no children. Guess what - the way I spend money on shoes can still be considered highly irresponsible.

...Those in glass houses, my dude. And, with that, I'm done.

Dang good thing I went with my gut....I had a strong feeling the breds were having something different in the box other than the regular jb one.

Just got back from Jordan's Holiday/Winter Preview for media. I can confirm that the early pairs are 100% on point to the product they showed us. Everything from the clear toe, shape, 23 on the back and carbon fiber matched up exactly to the early pairs I have seen. They didn't show us a box but the shoe did have the red insert.

For those who got the early ones I wouldn't stress the packaging, just be glad that there wasn't a final material change.

Edit -

Here is the pair they had on display
