Official Air Jordan 11 Retro "Bred" - The aftermath.... No Buying/Selling/Trading

Nobody has mentioned the 20 bucks for every 200 spent with fnl. I'll be shopping for free there for a while with all these damn releases and restocks
roll.gif
we dont mention it because you cant stack em .. only 1 per purchase .. or wed all have free shoes

there are slight ways around this, but for the most part 1 per purchase .. SUCKS

Definitely was easier to grab a pair of these from finish line, than on the release date. But remember on release date, there were a bunch of sites doing a FSR. At the end of the day, luck of the draw. I was still surprised to see that size 14 was one of the last sizes left. It was one of the first sold out back in december.

well, i had no plan to grab the 2012 breds, cuz i got a pair of 2001's that are in pretty good shape...

but i landed some today from that FNL restock, so now i'm wondering... are these considered on par with 2001's?

trying to figure out which pair to keep (obviously the new DS pair is more enticing)... :nerd:

For whatever reason FNL would NOT let me check out. I tried 5 different cards, "transaction not authorized." I probably tried over 50 times (autosubmitting CC info, def not typing that in). I hate how their site does that.
whack. i tried to check out about 10 times and it didn't take my payment. I have a bunch of pending charges too. I just wanted a size 8.
Becareful when you do this.  Too many attempts will lock your account out.  They have checks in place to block anything with your name, address, email and number once you're locked out. Probation period is 30 days.

I called twice and got the same answer as to way I couldn't make a purchase.  If you call up customer service, they can tell you how many times you attempted.

Able to grab another 10.5 from fnl. worked out well cuz i sold my extra pair for retail last week to a friend who missed out on rd.

i think its because of s h i t deals not posting anything on there page or shoes would have been gone in minutes

if you were smart you would've refreshed the backdoor site at 4:55... no traffic at all and fsr lf concords and breds... i had enough time to casually pull out my credit card and enter my $20 rewards LOL eassayy

No the cut of the patent leather is much lower all around and I feel like the 01's were much softer and more comfortable. My 2001's are freaking TANKS. I've literally wore them my entire Freshmen year season (games only) and worn them to countless frat parties. They still look great. The soles still look new. Just some parts of the mesh started to fray so I just used some sewing scissors and trimmed them down. The patent leather hasn't cracked or creased. I think the 2012's patent leather is much cheaper IMO.

Man my account probably suspended for 30 days. I did so many attempts lol, all charges getting reversed but I'm afraid I won't be able to purchase on finishline for a while then. I guess I can make a new finishline account, but the hassle of changing up everything billing, address, card, etc. smh.

I've been lurking around here for about a year but never commented before. Anyways thanks for this thread because I never would have known about the fnl restock. I had to buy these from a reseller so I was really happy when I finally got into the site to order my 11s.

someone mentioned that the confirmation looks different? I noticed that too but once you get the email confirming from fnl aren't you good to go?

my guess on the "different" confirmation emails is that they're trying to re-invent their image... connect with the client base a little more--simply a marketing strategy similar to some of their tweets.

nothing is ever for sure until you get tracking info but these should ship from the fnl warehouse in indiana so your chances of getting canceled if you received an email confirmation are pretty slim. on the original rd they shipped same day. hopefully they do today as well. good luck all!

I believe they have a glitch in the payment system (they need to fix). I've done all THREE types of payment options in the past and all I got was "Payment error." It's not us, it's them.
From FNL...
If that makes you feel better...It's a bold move for me to call them a liar (so I won't), but hey, whatever makes the customers happy, right?

Keep the 01s. I also have a pair of 01s and when I compared them to my '12s, what a difference. Just the shine on real patent leather is unreal. 09 - present XIs cannot compete with the 00 - 01 era. (And OG, & 06)

i say keep both. this is a timeless shoe. you can unds the 12s when ur 01s get beat. As someone who has owned every iteration of this colorway except ogs (still salty i missed on that..local shoe shop screwed me on the preorder) this is a very nice shoe. much better than the 2008 cdp version.
