Elites are awesome but no jersey is worth a high price tag unless we were all rich.
the jerseys are awesome quality, thick, high quality, and durable. i got rid of my calvin elite, its a beautiful jersey and its great having an authentic real deal jersey compared to everyone else having a fake. I just had to get rid of it for what i pair because honestly for the price, it wasnt getting the wear it should have.
im a NFL fan but im not gonna wear a jersey everyday, hell i wore it one time last year. i got compliments on it tho

Elite jerseys have pros and cons. They're definitely nice. The materials used feel nice and have a high quality feel.
The fitting of the jersey is mad weird. Can't explain it. The neck is cut ridiculously, most look like a V neck on people and the sleeves are mad big and shaped funny. For the price they should at least cut the sleeves the way most players wear them or at least add a cuff.
Like I said, I have three and I don't wear them because the fitting is very weird.

yes they have an awkward fit because they are so stiff.
ive heard overtime and wear em it gets a little easier to wear and will fit better overall as it loosens up

I'm sure it loosens up and fits a little better but the cut is really weird. Parts of my jerseys are fitted and then other parts are loose. It's really weird. My biggest complaint is the sleeves. The cut of the sleeves and not being cuffed or even smaller.

They definitely loosen up after a few wears. I haven't picked up any new ones since the 2012 season because Nike hasn't seen fit to make off the racks in anybody other than Drew Brees for the Saints, aside from Graham, and I've never seen that one actually in stock.
I got a custom Devery Henderson for Christmas in 2012, but they screwed me and put reebok numbers on it, by the time I realized what had happened, it was too late to return.

I took my elite to a tailor and they threw some elastic in my sleeves to cut them down a little bit now it fits perfect

Got my Nicks jersey and it fits pretty nice. Might get the neck and sleeves tailored. The jersey material is a little stiff. Any way to get the jersey a little softer? Thanks!

Wear it and sweat in it then do a hand wash and it will be pretty loose.

Been on the hunt for Raider gloves like that. Can find the ones wit the logo on each palm but the connecting to make one logo is no where to b found SMH...

Love those gloves, but yeah never ever paying retail. $100 for a set of gloves that there is no way in hell I am every actually playing in. Showcase piece strictly. I waited for the 49er Vapor Flys to go on sale for $30 last year.

Just found this site and thread. I've enjoyed reading everyone's perspectives on the Nike Elite jerseys. I ordered a size 44 Julio Jones elite (40% off last week!!) and just got it. I'm 5'9, 215lbs and this sucker is big. I'm going to try to exchange for a 40 and hope it fits better. The quality is top notch, the jersey is a bit heavy but looks good. Here's a photo of me with it on. For comparison is a Reebok Authentic Dunn photo.

There are some legit white throwbacks on ebay right now.. Just an FYI if you find a stitched one, its a fake.. they wore screened numbers in the early 90's..
