For the price the inside tag should damn well read "Made in Berlin, WI"

And they need to step in and make sure vendors aren't sending out custom jerseys using the Reebok numbers or worse still trying to pass off the limited level twill as elite.

People were saying they should consider lowering the price to entice people to stay away from buying fakes and just get the real thing, now I have no sympathy for them when they raise the prices to a point that so few people can afford.
 
Yup, as a jersey collector, Nike can go **** themselves. $300 is outrageous. I own a few Elites, they're not perfection at all. Baggy *** sleeves without a cuff. I'm done with elites, I'll just stick with M&N whenever they have their 50% off sale again.
 
I wouldn't call myself a jersey collector just a big fan of my hometown, and the lack of available elites from year to year and now this has basically pushed me into only buying on an irregular basis when I find a great deal. I've been picking up team issued jerseys for guys no longer with the team for 50-100 from the stadium store, and while I'd love to get a new elite the lack of QC for customs and new offerings on premade make it impossible.

If you buy more than 3-5 jerseys a year in 2014, you're a collector. Not many people buy jerseys anymore. But back to the point, $300 is ridiculous. Nike made it easy for me to not even look at these jerseys again.
 
I guess I'm in denial. I don't want to admit to having yet another thing for my girl to gripe about. I just hate that since they've priced normal people out of the market, which will make it less likely that I'll see another factory made elite added to the lineup.

Never had plans of buying one, but Lids has a sale on Jared Allen for
around 50 bucks for a limited jersey. Figured why not cop the new style for
my squad, especially at 50 bucks.

How's the sizing, I usually wear XL in nike tees... stick to XL or do I
need to go up to XXL?

stick with your tee size. I got a white Jimmy Graham limited in 2012 and it was pretty baggy fitting in an xl going up a size would make me look comical

I have a custom Raiders Elite and paid $125 for it from the Raider Image. They have good sales throughout the year especially when we are losing. Thank you Coach Dennis Allen for the discounted jerseys the last two years.LOL

Custom is the way to go at $300 now haha. No one is worth getting on the raiders. I would go the raider image route, get a discount with my season tickets too, but for some reason the raider image doesn't believe in carrying a size 40.
 
The Saints still screw me with the customs, they've been 375 for years from the pro shop.

And if I use the nflshop it's a crapshoot with what's going to be wrong.
 
Nike is just making it more convincing for consumers to just go with knockoffs, nobody in their right minds should be paying $300 for a jersey. It's not 2000 anymore.
 
Anybody have the speedvent shorts? Need a new pair of Giants shorts, but I'm not a fan of anything except those. 75 seems a bit pricey for ball shorts. So how are they? Worth the price tag?

Trying to find either the old NFL Equipment coaches shorts or something similar. Can't find the coaches shorts in a medium. Been looking for months :frown:

It'll be a while, probably right as the season is getting started, Nike has been pretty slow to get things into production since they took over. Not that Reebok was any better.

The big issue is how much merch the fan base moves normally. If they don't sell a lot of jerseys to begin with they'll wait to make anything more expensive than the game level jersey.
 
Anyone know where I can find Air Jordan 12 football cleats? Also anyone have any luck with customcleats.com? If this is the wrong thresd I apologize.
 
Select sizes still up on DSG and Eastbay. Check with your local sporting goods shops and with local Champs Sports.
