that's not necessarily true.

the flywire collar adds a design element that not all the teams want specifically with some of the classic jersey designs. most notably would probably be the Packers.

they have a very specific collar design that would not retain its integrity with the addition of the flywire collar.

Valid point, (the Bills did that) but I tend to think that if it really made that much of a difference on performance, they would have gone with what was functionally better. Just my opinion, not rooted in any facts.
 
Does anybody have any pics of an "Elite" jersey tailored? I recently bought a Cruz one but its too baggy on the top, arms aren't tight, and the length is a tad bit to long.

Got my Reggie Wayne Home Limited in today, but sent it back to Nike because it was too big. Debating on whether to get the away instead for the second go round. Hoping to get it signed after the Colts-Texans game in October.
 
Does anyone know/where to find out what jerseys Nike will make in the Limited version for each team?

I want to get a new Bucs jersey but the only options are Jackson and Martin. I'm looking to get McCoy or David but would settle on VJax if those are the only two made. I'd be pissed however if I go with VJax and then McCoy or David become available.
 
For the first third of the season the two available now are probably it, if McCoy or David become standouts you could see some pop up in late October/November.

I wonder how much of the limited options are because of a self feeding problem of people buying fakes since their favorite isn't available, and Nike not making more because sales aren't that great.

It sucks to be a fan of a team that doesn't have a huge national following. I haven't had the chance to buy a new Elite jersey since 2012 since they've only made the same one, and I'm done paying for a custom that comes with the Reebok era nameplate/numbers.

Check your local outlets, I found my team's Vapor Fly gloves for 30 in a huge stack. No way would I ever pay 100 for them, but 30 is enticing.

limited jerseys are basically game jerseys but with sewn on numbers and name patch and fliy wire on the collar (if your team elects for flywire on their jerseys), elite is basically what the players wear in the field (minus the alterations made for the players). if you are looking to buy one or the other i suggest the elite, way better quality and looks alot nicer too, i get compliments on my luck elites all the time, especially the road jersey.

Thanks! I know all the layers on an elite are sewn on and the limited aren't. Was curious if the #s were the same on the Giants elite and limited since we only have 1 layer of #s. I want to check out an Elite in person, but nowhere near me has them.

there is some dude on youtube who has a video up on an eli mannin gelite jersey and it is an legit one (not the fake china ones) his name is EPICSKATENYC
 
Thanks to everybody who replied about the elite/limited jersey. A bunch of sites have a Hakeem Nicks Home Elite for $99.99. Found a code for $10 off and free shipping for Fansedge. Ended up getting it for $95 and then I'll get 5% cash back. Wanted to see how I like the fit and stuff, before I spend $300 on the Eli Away Elite that I want.
 
Elite jerseys are okay. I have three, not even close to being worth $300. I wouldn't get limited or elite. I'm done until they make some changes and start having sales.

Basically a Limited with platinum name plate/numbers, like those black out and whatever that thing they had last year that pretty much only sold at champs where it was one color per team.

Are they worth 90? Why don't you think they are worth it? I know it's just a jersey that is made for pennies, but is it nicer then the limited?
