2017 NIKE NFL Apparel, Footwear & Jerseys

You got swoosh now? 40% isn't enough for me. That's $180-$190 after taxes. All my Elite's were from outlets or end of season sales. All have been $125 or less.

$125 or less for players that still play for the team? Only time I really see them on sale is when the player is traded or released.

Exactly. You might and stress the word might get lucky with an outlet if they ever carried NFL stuff and one might pop up randomly but chances of getting a star player for more than 20% off is unlikely

Only place where you can find deals is eBay

Yeah, that 40% you get is about as good as you're gonna find. I'm not in the market of my team, so my Nike Outlet isn't gonna have what I want. I bet a lot of ppl get bamboozled on eBay paying $100+ for a $21 Chinese knockoff.

What do you mean by switching to elite?

Anyways I wish raiders had a star RB/WR I'd love to get a black authentic
Watching the game now on an average quality stream and it looks like they switched them up to the "Elite" style.  Those Carr jerseys from last year, should be on sale since they switched up the jerseys.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't every team have elite version in the NFL? My Packers elite feels the same as all the other elites I've seen it just doesn't have the flywire in the collar as I know couple older teams wanted to keep it traditional. And it still doesn't look like the Raiders have it either by those pics but its hard to tell.

With them switching the last teams

not all teams do. The packers, Falcons, and panthers all still have the reebok format instead of the elite 51 design.

It's more than just flywire. The packers jersey has one material on the shoulders and upper chest area, while the elites have different material in strategically placed heat zones. And I think the pack still has that shiny material up top. The elites are all matte. Just go to NFL shop website and compare a GB elite with any team besides the Falcons or Panthers, and you'll see the difference. Or just watch any game. You'll see the packers, Falcons, and Panthers jerseys are different from the rest of the league.

It was probably just Al Davis being stubborn.

Al had already passed by then. It was Mark. He wanted to keep the uniforms traditional. I doubt he knew what the changed jersey would look like. I noticed this change this summer as all new elites had the new cut. Raiders didn't add the flywire collar though and the pants are the same old ones.

Yeah, that's right. For some reason I thought he died in 2012. I guess I've tried to erase some of the recent Raider history from my mind. Like that Carson Palmer trade.

Is there a new thread for this season, or should we continue using this one?

Al didn't do the Carson deal either lol. That was Mark and hue. Things look promising this year though. I wish we can some how keep the team here in Oakland.

Oh, I know Hue orchestrated that. I was just referring to that as one of the recent low-lights in Raider history. I liked the offense that Hue ran. Didn't like him playing GM though.

Same. The Da era was painful.

What's interesting on the raiders switch is that they kept the old huge numbers. It goes into the sweat zone area. Also the twill looked drenched on everyone

Thanks, I have both a Reebok and Nike authentic Packers jersey and they are definitely different as far as materials go. I was thinking people were insinuating the material was the same and just the logo was different which with what I can see when looking at my jerseys is not the case. Thanks for the insight.

Yeah, the raiders numbers are different from any other team in the league. They have the extra detail of those horizontal lines. Maybe that's why?

400

The lines don't matter as much as the black numbers have the lines too. It's the dazzle I think. When it gets wet, it shows more. The sparkle of the twill is unique on the silver homes. My fav part of buying the elite.

I just ordered an elite cooper today. $300 plus tax is no joke. Nike milking it with these
Nice.  Post it when it arrives.  I'm gonna get a Woodson sometime.  Just had a baby, so I don't know if the wife will be happy with me dropping $300+ on a jersey right now, but I gotta get one since he's been my favorite player for almost 20 years, going back to his days at Michigan.

I was just posting in my Raiders group on Facebook that back in the 90's there wasn't one price for authentic NFL jerseys.  It was based on detail.  For example a Patriots jersey was more expensive than a Raiders jersey, since it had more stuff going on.  You would think the teams that didn't switch to the Elite design would have cheaper jerseys.  But Nike is raking it in off these.  I'd like to know how much they cost to produce.  If it's anything like the shoes, probably $30-50.  They're just trying to recoup all the money they had to fork over to get the exclusive apparel deal.

I hope this is the right thread for this... :nerd:
I have a blank Giants Elite that I was looking to get turned into a Beckham Jr. Anyone in the NYC area know where I can get that done? I haven't seen any Giants Pro Shops and NFLshop customer service couldn't help me either. Thanks in advance.
