With the Navy I worry about the screen print. On the thanksgiving one I worry about the white getting dirty. That's sorta where I stand.

Which Thanksgiving jersey you talking about?  The Color Rush Doublestar that the Boys wore against the Panthers last year?

Yeah, I have the Color Rush Witten and don't like the fit.  It's a poor imitation of the '94 Doublestar...the M&N version is so much nicer. The Nike Limited jerseys are too short.  

I prefer the blue away jersey.  Shame the Boys don't wear it more often since they wear white at home.
 
I ordered the Blue Away. The reason they wear white at home is because that way their fans get to see different colors every week. You get eagles green, then chargers blue, the Broncos orange, etc instead of blue versus white every week.
 
The Pack wears green at home..

I heard teams would wear white at home to have an advantage over opponents because the white wouldn't absorb the sunlight.. I know there are night games and everything but I believe that's what it started from.


Any word on the new Nike uniform design for 2016? :nerd:
 
Some of the teams will wear white due to heat. Like the Buccaneers and Dolphins have done that a couple times.

5. HOME WHITES AREN'T JUST FOR BASEBALL
Wearing dark jerseys at home has been an unofficial football tradition for generations, but the Cowboys opted to buck that trend during the franchise's earliest days. It was GM Tex Schramm's idea: He figured that if the team wore blue at home, every home game would look the same -- blue jerseys versus white jerseys. By wearing white at home, the team would give its fans a chance to see an ever-shifting range of colors as a new team came into town each week. Since most other NFL teams chose to wear their colors at home, the Cowboys usually ended up wearing white on the road, as well.

Uniqueness Factor:  Medium-high. Other teams have favored home whites over the years, most notably the ********, Dolphins and Browns. Plus, some warm-weather teams opt to wear white at home early in the season to avoid baking in the sun. But the Cowboys were the first to go this route, and they've stuck to it more single-mindedly than any other club.

buccaneers do it all the time except rare cases. the white been their home uniform since the redesign

That's true the saints also do it even tho we play in a dome during the hot months they wear white and them black in the winter
 
Guys,
I finally learned, or saw, first hand the differences between a custom and a regular nike elite.

Its been something that has been on my mind as I got 2 jerseys from a guy that got them from NFL shop but I figured they were customs but never really cared too much because of the great deals.

Checked my arian foster jersey and my nuk hopkins this morning and observed the differences in the 2 numbers. its not a HUGE issue but it is something i noticed only because i was made aware about it in this thread. I think my keenen allen allen jersey is an custom from NFL shop also :smh:


Its hard to tell but the white materials on the numbers are different. The main difference between the 2 numbers wise is the white and red layers are inverted compared to each other.
The Hopkins has the white as a layer on top of the red
The Foster has the red over top of the white (image isnt mine)
