This guy can still play, no doubt about it. 16.5 sacks in '99. That's unbelieveable for that position. He is also responsible for the phrase "Puta jersey on." If anyone remebers the confrontation him and Mike Sherman had a few years ago, you know what I'm talking about.

As a Bucs fan I hated to see him leave, but as far as him going to the HOF it will be as a Buc I'd hope. He enjoyed Tampa Bay, won a superbowl, DefensiveAwards etc.... He'll be back with the Pats next season though watch.

for those not familiar with NFL contracts. If you are under contract and retire, U cant just sign anywhere u want to. in 2004 Sapp signed a 7 yr deal with theraiders. He will NOT be playign in New England next yr.

i witnessed him win his ring
to hell with Chad Johnson or any of these dudes who think they're cute with their extravagant celebrations...he was one of the most entertaining players inthe NFL that i've ever seen. his celebrations and his overall attitude on the field was fun to watch. whenever him and Brett Favre would jaw it up waspriceless.
definitely one of my favorite defensive players ever. i loved that '02-'03 Tampa Bay squad...
