Probably because it was a huge skull. Maybe they got it from the grave of another clegane family member.

I think Robert Strong is really Hodor's sister.

Just did a wiki binge into a theories binge...
Let's talk Robert Strong.
All Mountain?
Headless Mountain?
Mountain + Robert Baratheon parts?
Mountain + Robb Stark head?
Headless Mountain + Jaime's hand as his head? [best thing I've read]

dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
I was thinking zombie myself.
should be interesting.
I don't think they would have gotten to robs body. or roberts.
mindless zombie maybe.
tough to say......
I'm hoping headless with just armor

That would hurt real talk...
More so because we got his POV in the show not the book, but damn yo. I doubt they would though.

finally watched the final last night (was on vacation for the week)..

they really should have had Jamie tell tyrion about tysha

i think the show runners felt the Tysha storyline was such a brief anecdote in the show that tv watchers wouldn't remember who she was or understand her importance as a motivator to Tyrion.  He goes on this murderous rampage because of a woman you only mentioned once 2-3 years ago?

I told the Tysha story to my gf who JUST marathoned the series two weeks ago and even she was like "who?" and couldn't remember. So I think it made sense to leave it out. It just frustrate the book readers who feel like tyrions actions otherwise seem erratic.

Him killing Shae like that still doesn't make much sense in the context of the show. It felt like something he did just to do.

the could have easily had Jamie have a break down.. talk about the whole situation, try to explain his side of things (and also kinda retelling the story a little bit).. then have tyrion say some stuff when he confronts his dad

but I agree with what comicbookgirl19 said about it in her recap for the episode (literally just watched it)

Could of easily reminded everyone by having Jaime drop a simple "Do you remember your first wife Tysha?" Or "About your first wife..."

Tyrion in return could of responded "Yes the ***** you hired to be my wife."

Jaime tells him the truth, Tyrion rages and leaves Jaime by revealing Cersie's been sleeping with Lancel, leaves with Varys, argues with Varys about taking a quick detour and boom kills Shae and Tywin.

Really not that hard.

as big as the tysha reveal was in the books, i don't think it would have translated well on the show. most show watchers have really short attention spans and i don't think they would have empathized with tyrion.

if they wanted to include tysha, they woulda have had to give us a flashback of the events (probably from tyrion pov) and probably when he, bronn and shae were talking about it.

that way we at least know what she looks like and have an image of what happened versus just hearsay.

People in the show thread didn't even know Jorah Mormont and Joer Mormont, former Lord Commandor of the Night's Watch, were related.

I believe it's  just zombie Mountain. Why would he have body parts from anyone?

Sadly this is the reason why I think when the big reveal of Jon's parents happens in the show, it won't have as big of an impact to show watchers as book readers. Had to remind my buddies that watch the show, how Rhaegar was a couple times and Lyanna hasn't been mention since episode 1 I think.

1. IF they reveal
2. IF it is R+L (not getting in to that debate again)

as far as the book goes, we'll get a little more insight from jon IF melisandre is taking care of him...

I do wonder if Ygrette had something with her or some family secret. since she was kissed by fire... aka red heads seemed to be rare in ASOIAF
and if she unlocked any thing with in jon (unknowingly)

His wife, Lynesse Hightower, is Alerie Hightower-Tyrell's sister. Alerie is Mace Tyrell's wife.

Apparently there's a familiar face returning to season 5 and no it's not LS:

Jaqen H'ghar
According to the German agency of Tom Wlaschiha, the actor is shooting a 2014 episode of the crime solving series Tatort entitled, “Borowski und die armen Kinder von Gaarden, ” and after that, in August, he’ll begin filming on Game of Thrones. The agency notes that Tom is in the main cast. Given that the website updates their News sections regularly with 2014 projects, and that Wlaschiha has appeared in several notable productions since filming GoT in 2011 (with his appearance airing in 2012), it does look like Arya’s mentor is returning to the show next year.

Possibly taking over the role of the Faceless Man?

Crazy that I have to use spoilers for the book thread now
