also it could very well mean they'll finally do a flashback of the war. recast Robert to be a more healthy man, and we may get the Usurpers war flashback/story in 2 more seasons.

People saying her character got cut out of the show. I think Quentyn might be out too. In an article it said trystane was Doran's heir.

I'm glad GRRM said he's not going to be a part of S5 because he needs to finish the book. He has an announcement/press conference coming up in mid-August, so hopefully that's to announce a tentative release date.

I read on reddit that the Greyjoy brothers were actually mentioned by Tyrion in Season 1. So they exist on the show. Whether they're introduced remains to be seen.

Just started re reading GOT, I don't know if I missed it but did it ever cross Dany's mind to send a spy to Westeros? Which should make sense because it gives her advantages. :rolleyes

I also forgot that Theon was older than Robb and Jon. Crazy how watching the show messes up some things for you. :lol:

who was she going to send, she had no one to send... Jorah was already the spy her brother was useless. and dothraki wasn't going anywhere

and in the later books, she's still the only one that wants to go

She could've sent a random person from her army, maybe an unsullied or one of Daario's men. Maybe if she knew about Joffrey's death and that the kingdom is in shambles, that would've influenced her to atleast think of going back. Just my $0.02

After a lot of controversy, Cersei Lannister's big "GoT" scene is going to happen after all, thanks to a compromise with Croatian film commissioners.

Initially, the film commission, which TMZ reports is heavily influenced by the local church, wouldn't create permits for a pivotal scene in which Cersei is stripped and shamed by the High Septon because it would require actress Lena Headey to get naked in an actual church in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The scene was too important to be cut, so the two sides have now reached a compromise.

HBO will be allowed to film Cersei walking naked in the streets as long as she doesn't set foot in the place of worship. In addition, all nude scenes inside the church will now be shot on a fake set instead.

It's a solution that should please the old gods and the new (and Jaime of course).
