Damon Stoudamire wants out of Memphis

He's better off out of Memphis with Lowry there as well at G. I don't see him being there to long anyway, a lot of young players there who have greatpotential.

I wanna trade T-Mac and a couple of others for a package including Gasol and Stoudamire (adding in Warrick, if possible).

Do we really want Gasol and Yao on the blocks? They prolly don't want anything to do with TMac when they have Rudy (knew Mac would break down sooner thanlater, should have kept Gay as insurance SMH)

That's a good point. I didn't even think about that. I'm just trying to find any way to ship T-Mac out of town right now. Think Memphis will tradeus back? Gay for Battier? Those bastards.

That'd be rough keeping Mike Miller happy, because pretty sure SG spot is locked up for Rudy Gay, and unless Tracy wants to run the point, not really a wayfor Tracy, Miller, and Gay to play all together, and they'd have to have Darko running the 5. Gasol and Yao on the floor at the same time would be roughtoo, very sluggish (though Gasol can run somewhat, he doesn't have the speed of Dirk IMO).

Another good point. I didn't really take the time to think about Memphis's current roster.

Yeah, I made a stupid statement earlier (not saying that yours is stupid, but you get my point).

Not only that though, but who would score for Houston? Bonzi could score, but I don't think he could put up 20 a night.

first of all, mike miller is not hard to please. he's one of the most unselfish players in the league. he would accept the 6th man role if necessary(6th man of the year last season). secondly, gay has shooting forward locked up not shooting guard. you are aware he's 6'9" right? currentlymiller plays the 2. thirdly, this hypothetical scenario of t-mac becoming a grizzly will never occur.

however, pau is indeed inevitably on his way out. which will free up room for michael beasley

he'll be a little undersized at the power forward position but honestly, whocares?!

Haha what about Mike James? Don't you remember all of the other Rockets fans being so excited about this guy being able to put up points off the bench?

i think veteran in this context is the nicer word for.. old. but he needs out of memphis. he has no place with the youth movement and the depth at the pgposition there... maybe he could go play for... the knicks. heck they'll take anybody right now. he'd look good beside alan houston lol (no offenseknicks fans)

but seriously though, i think that stoudamire-warrick for pietrus-o'bryant would be a good trade. o'bryant has a load of potential, but so doeswarrick, ESPECIALLY in the warrior's up tempo offense. he's a killer athlete and could really do good in that system

Okay, you got me, I don't know how tall Rudy Gay is. Point still stands that Mike Miller wouldn't be able to be on the floor with Tracy and MikeMiller. What I'm saying is that he would be a waste coming off the bench, he is a starter, he deserves to be a starter, he's still one of the bestshooters in the league. The entire reason I came up with this was because someone suggested moving Tracy to Memphis, and I was just responding to them.

hopefully the Warriors go after Stoudamire unless he still thinks he's starting guard material. Really don't see any other team needing a starting PGmaybe other than Miami, but would they add another aging player to their roster?

Seriously...at least at first glance, he makes ALOT of sense for Boston. He obviously isnt what he used to be, and isnt a GREAT backup pg, but I think he isstill a decent one. He would bring veteran and playoff experience also. They need to trade someone from their bench for this guy, or maybe a 2nd rounder.

There are teams out there that could use his services. Damon makes sense on the Warriors as a backup behind Baron, on the Celtics as a veteran guardfor the stretch/playoff run, on the Miami Heat since Smush and J-Will aren't working out, and on the Cavs because they could use another PG.

Paul's right, even Toronto might need a PG if TJ ends up being done. Indy could use a good PG behind Tinsley, Spurs don't really have a PG other thanTP, if Cassell doesn't work out, so will the CLippers if Shaun doesn't come back this year.

I think it's only a matter of time if Memphis really does want to move him, he's a quality PG still, he's not horrible, starting PG material? Notquite no, but serviceable? Yes.

I wish the Grizzlies woudl trade Pau and Stoudamire for Battier and Scola. No way Houston will get Rudy back though. Best thing Memphis could do would be todealt Stoudamire and Warrick to the Warriors for Pietrus and O'Bryant. Both teams benefit from the deal and Pietrus could become the starting defensive SGthat the Grizz need so Miller can come off the bench as the 6th man. I'm hoping they can somehow give them Swift in the deal as well that way the Grizzlieswould have a better chance at re-signing Navarro and Pietrus in the off-season. I don't see Gasol going anywhere though as much as I want him to leave. Hehas been playing a lot better as of late, and he has been in Memphis for 7 years now so he might be stuck here for the rest of his career. With Conley back, Iexpect to see him play with more confidence since there will be a true PG running the show. Memphis will not be able to get equal value for him regardless, soits best to go ahead and keep him. Hopefully, we can get a top 5 pick in the draft and grab Eric Gordon.

Conley, Gordon, Gay, Gasol, Darko, Lowry, Navarro, Pietrus, Miller, O'Bryant would be a nice core to build on.
