I got the white/blue/black version and I have to say that they have delivered for me! I was skeptical when I first bought them, but after playing many games in them now, they just seem to get more comfy! I play indoors and they show no signs of wear on the soles, and minimal creasing. I personally like the strap and feel that it does help lock the foot down. For me these are the best pair of ball shoes since the Jordan 2010 and Carmelo M8 (considering cushioning set-up and weight).

I'm not even a fan of the Soldier line like that, but these Olympic color Soldier 6's are nice as Hell...

Soldiers are supposed to be the team shoes. I believe I heard the only reason they got the IXs last year was because of the lockout to get the shoe out there.
