Raising the prices

Nike is already starting to make sneakers like cars. Just look at the "elite" line coming out next month. lol.

this is not worth it even if they brought back nike air on the back or wherever it was on the ogs

they say the yeezy 2 is 250 msrp. if every nike or jordan became that expect the resell to double as well.

if any sneaker should cost as much as an ipod touch, well then that sneaker better be damn good with some great materials in it.

the way i see it is quality, color, mold/shape, fitting, design of some ogs >>> reretros

technology of some reretros >>> og technology

if nike jb is truly putting the best/newer technology in its future products they should have charged us the prices they are charging now for those future products.

I believe the prices of Jordans will eventually continue to climb especially when the economy is good. However I still do not believe resellers will stop because of the price hike. Rather instead of anyone being a reseller, it will be those who can afford it. Regardless of how the price may go up, I honestly doubt Nike or any shoe company will increase the compensation for their workers. Corporations are greedy and that is final!

Really tho, this is a ridiculous solution.

The price increase will force more people to become re-sellers. I started buying extra pair jays to flip, to keep my pair for free or below retail price. The reason behind my madness is because Jay’s were never this expensive, or hard to acquire growing up. I paid 77 dollars for Bred XI when I was in 10th grade; with my home girl’s discount @ Fooataction, plus my 10 dollar coupon. I had enough money to buy 3 pairs, but thought to myself, what a waste of money. If the prices go up, be ready to pay my premium. Hustle or get hustled!

I know you were in heaven. You just described every sneakerhead's dream nowadays, lol.

This kind of price hikes will only make me purchase sneakers prior to 06.

Roughly the same price, maybe $20 or $30 more.

If the price of Jordans were ~$200+, I'd glady pay those prices if it meant making then accessible.

If JB start to raise it price like what NIKE is doing now with the "ELITES",

I don't even want to think about what the retail for these in Canada.

I'm on the same boat as Vuey its so hard to buy shoe/collect when the retail are high.

That's why I've got the mentality of "I'll buy shoe(s) that I love."

If miss it due to Limited,QS or what not, I just shrug and on the next release.

Why would you want JB to intentionally raise the prices to have more accessibility when you could just purchase a pair above retail from the resellers. This topic is just feeding money for these kind of people. If JB prices go up, the resellers are gonna go up as well.

i wish that would work, if they charged more it could just make the hype grow even more.
