Thinking about flying into Bogota and heading to Santa Marta for 10 days with a couple buddies. Anyone been? Heard its pretty cheap and mostly safe as long as you're respectful. How are the parties? Beaches? Women?

born and lived there till i was 9, never experienced the adult/nightlife there, but where im from Medellin....is one of the most beautiful places ive ever seen....just becareful, still pretty dangerous in certain parts, best bet is to blend in...dont go there too flashy chances are you'll attract trouble.

Try to blend in.. Violent crimes air no joke, and the coppers are crooked as hell. Very cheap just like anywhere else in S. Am. and the women are drop dead gorgeous and ready. Learn a little bit of spanish if you don't already know any.

I was in Bogota for 4 days in September and I loved it, stayed in the Historic Canderia region. CHEAP as hell, food and drinks were absurdly cheap and there were some bad chicks at every corner. That area had a bunch of college so I was on beast mode non stop cuz

I've heard a lot of S. American girls want to go on multiple dates before smashing. Is this true or do you just have to find wild ones like in the US? If I make out with a chick in the club am I putting myself at risk of getting my juevos cut off? My body is not ready for that...

My boy just got back from Medellin a few weeks ago. He said he really enjoyed it, said it was safe and the subway system is very clean. Hes married so he didnt talk too much about women but you already know they got fine females. I have another friend from Barranquilla thats going in a few weeks and he always talks about the place. I plan on making that trip in a year or so.

I'm from Bogota been twice in the last three years. I love it out there. Food and shopping is pretty cheap and the city life is pretty cool. Make sure to not wear anything loud some converse and nikes will be fine. Be careful if you ride the buses and the taxis. Next time I go I plan on going to other places. Can't wait to see Cali & Medellin. And yes the shorties out there are fine! Bogota stay raining n cold so make sure to have a hoodie and you'll be good. Enjoy.

Colombia is amazing. Went to Bogota, Medellin, Santa Marta, Murcura Island and Cartagena this summer, one of the best trips of my life.
