got a red racer as my 1st pair also.

what's a good lace color replacement for that? or it's already good as it is?

Crappy weather is putting serious damper on my flyknit game. NO relief in sight. I also have somehow become more fond of racers than trainers, which I never thought would be possible. Anyone else have that happen after wearing racers more and more?

For me, trainers have become a favorite over racers.  Especially, when wearing pants.  I think that trainers look better with longs versus racers.  When rockin' shorts, it's a toss up between the two.  Chukkas and lunar1s look mighty good with shorts, as well.

thanks! picked up the mc lunars and wanted to get a feel for the trainers but nothing in the brick mortors.

good thing I didn't sleep on the recent flyknit sales.. was going to wait for next year's model to jump in..but that lunar 2..smh

I think they are done with trainers completely and they will maybe put out more racer cws. I don't see them making a trainer 2. MAYBE a racer 2.
That would be a shame if they don't make anymore trainers.  I really like running in them over the lunars.

I threw some white laces in the MC racers, looks good with the white flywire and black/white blocking along the midsole

Trainers feel weird on my foot.  It feels like the lacing doesn't wrap around foot as well as my Lunar or Racers.

To me they're just more comfortable.  I rarely wear my trainer anymore.

To me the trainers became a normal trainer once they went the padding route. It's not just the padding but how they changed the feel and look of the back of the shoe. I love how the chukka and racer molds to my heel. The original trainers did too. The padded version fit like any other nike trainer.

All this trainer vs. racer talk.  I just came so close to putting up all my trainers on the bay because I NEVER wear them any more, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.  Every time I go to put the trainer on, I just think they look like a bloated, rounder version of the racer and I end up taking them right back off.  I don't know if they will ever see the light of day

hmmm what size?? haha

Here's a photo of the FK Lunar 2s.

Since the Trainers have a similar upper design with the Lunars, it's possible this upper design will carry over to the Trainers.  As for the Racers, nothing has been leaked as far as I know.

Trainers are firmer than the Lunars.

ouch.those are so UGLY.

Can anybody help me find a pair of Black/Grey trainers in a 11.5/12? Is there any chance that Nike will have them in stock if I call?
