Ive always loved the racers silhouette. Not a fan of the trainers. Comfort wise, are they pretty equal?

Racers are lighter with only heel zoom cushioning.
Trainers are a more every day shoe, heavier due to the heel and forefoot zoom cushioning.

I hate lunar midsoles for the very superficial reason that I don't like the wavy apperance. I have no actual experience with lunarlon simply because I can't get past the ugliness of it.
I'm a strictly racer / trainer kind of guy, but i might make 1 little exception for that new preview model above.

got this from NIKE factory store.
there wasnt a normal tag and this was only one they had left, a worker came up to me asking if i wanted to keep it, of course with extra 20% and a 50$ off 100 spent card, these had to come home with me.
question is: wha is the official name or nickname to this color?

Wow that's a good find. I never seen that colorway before on the trainers. Looks a lot like the laser orange racers.

1) Compare the shape of the shoe to the Volt one posted above just above your post. Your last two pics are the real giveaways. The whole shoe just looks long and the shape is off;
2) The white lines on the ankle area. Normal pairs have 6. These have about 8-9;
3) The toe box--the knitting is not correct; and
4) Production Dates. the correct dates should be 1/xx/12 to 4/xx/12. These go to May. (I could be off on this, but I dont think so--all of my 1st gen trainers have 1/xx/12 to 4/xx/12 production dates).
