people in singapore calling them black oreos. they got their stock about a week ago. call your shoes whatever you want. all in all, doesn't matter what they're called.
gorgeous.  Will be doubling up on these.  Any Singaporean NTers have them and mind sharing the SKU for them?

You mean to all the buyers

Somene should ban all the users selling b/w racers aka that guy ^^^^^
And you're assuming I am a reseller because I made a comment that it's a buyers fault for paying what a reseller is asking?

Get real dude.  Look at all my posts in this thread. I preordered from RRS months ago before this hype train took off and very satisfied with my 2 pairs.  I am going to think that you're upset you couldnt get even one pair because of "people like me."  If I made that assumption I guess that would make me as ignorant as you.

My post simply stated that if buyers weren't stupid enough to buy at that price, there would be no sellers' market.  It can be said for this shoe and for any other shoe that gets hyped.  It's simple economics.  Now move along.

Just chopped it up with my main man William on NDC chat . Didn't get any concrete info, and as always you gotta take what they say with a grain of salt, but he said they're getting black/white Racer shipments in waves and are gradually adding inventory on the site as the shipments come in. Also added that unfortunately with the backdoor methods of adding pairs to cart, sometimes that inventory never actually makes it out to the public. He said hopefully they get a mass shipment in which will allow the inventory to survive the bots, scripts, etc. Actually hooked me up with a few % off and free 2-day air promo codes too. Didn't even have to ask :smokin.

Totally agree with you when you say that responsibility lies with the buyer.  You don't like what someone is charging for shoes ... don't pay it.  And don't give me the rationale that you have to have the shoes.  No you don't.  What you need is the willpower to say I'm going to pass on this one because there is another shoe coming down the line real soon.  Now if you got mad cash then pay whatever you want.

Love how they acknowledge the "backdoor methods" and the bots/scripts, but could literally give two ***** about preventing/stopping it. We aren't talking about some mom and pop website. They still move just as much product so perhaps they are turning a blind-eye to the issue. A ****** business practice that affects their true fans.

^ He didn't really come out and say bots and scripts, just sort of hinted at them . When I mentioned that I had seen people posting checkout pics and stuff on Twitter he said that he saw it too and was surprised, but unfortunately it happens from time to time for certain styles. Still maddeningly annoying, but there's really nothing that can be done. Even if they patch up all of the current holes, there will always be people out there that will find new ones. Just gotta accept that fact that you won't always have a "fair" chance at getting certain pairs.

Those who have em most definitely got the samples. The Seahawks, Crimson/volt and even the B/W have yet to officially drop here too. What sucks is that the one store that did stock the Seawhawks and Crimson/volt marked up the price of the racers out of nowhere. Still, they sell out quick.

What do you guys think a "fair price" is for DS MC Racers in an 11 or 11.5?  $500 on FeeBay is ridiculous.
I feel this is truly subjective. I personally would not pay over $250 just because a 66% markup tops my limit.  However, there are people who would spend $300 in a heartbeat for a DS pair.  It's your money so noone has a right to tell you how to spend it.  You could also wait for MC2.0 next year and cop for retail but the way this thread is going, copping for retail may be more difficult than it used to be

Yeah - I hear what you are saying.  I had two pair from the original release and ended up using one for training and running a half marathon.  Ended up selling the other pair (I regret that decision now).  Now I am on the hunt for another pair - I'll probably just hold off for the 2.0's... Thanks for talking me off the ledge

I would pay up to $350 for another size 11 if I could find it. WOuldn't be doing cartwheels though.

I'd feel good if i could catch a pair at $275.

Love MC.
