i have no idea how they load new products to the store, im not even sure if the link will work since they may make a entirely new catergory or link for the new racer to stop people using bots for the link maybe idk. I just hope I can snag a 13 before the AutoBots show up like a Transformers movie.

i have a pair of trainers i wear to the gym for a year or two now and they don't look this bad. i would swap the soles and give the shoes a few good washes.

In my mind these things are now condemned. I'm just going to get my money back, shipping out in the AM, will never feel right wearing them thinking about what weird *** feet did this to shoes with such little wear.

yea if they soles were in as good shape as you say, wouldnt pass up cheetos for 100. trow them in the washer, new insoles and boom.

My biggest concern is the black in the upper material near the toe box, there's some in the Orange paint on midsole as well, will that stuff come out in the wash?
 
i would like to know how to get that black smudge on the sole out as well, my og volts were b gades from a outlet restock and hve the same issue.

judging by the pics the amount of creasing from impact shows he definately got some use out of them. either he ran a lot in them and had a perfec stride because theres no drag on the heel or much wear on the bottoms, or he weighed a lot. 

honestly i would just ask for partial refund, maybe get 25 back, so u pay 75 in all. do some work on them and put some new insoles in. to be honest tho id rather buy new. 
 
i think yu guys are making a big deal out of this.. insoles do not warrant 25 bucks back

and for cleaning that smudge i use the cleaner that came with my angelus direct kit

wipe with paper towel/ microfiber cloth 

EDIT: He most likely ran in them barefoot (yes its a running shoe) it would explain the dirt on the flyknit/midsole and dirty insoles ( from accumulating sweat)

So if somehow someone got their hands on a MC OG Racer, do they wear it or just store it?

Also, if its new - will the color still pop even though its 2 years old?
 
Some of yall is overreacting and need a lecture on microbiology.
it's not that big of a problem esp if it's at a great deal. If you must throw some disinfectant on it to remove any microbes and you're straight. You can lick the insole after if you want with the foot print still there
 
I'm with ek1m. For 100$ those seem like a steal to me. Toss the insoles, and rotate a set you have from another shoe! They look good. Nice pickup in my opinion.

definitely ran with them indoors on a treadmill, would explain the clean soles but yet dirty as hell insoles. I don't ever buy used.

btw, just realized the turquoise/volt/purple as well as the "flaming hot cheetos" haven't hit NDC yet, wonder if they'll put those up first before Oreos or put all 3 together

Is it possible to buy replacement insoles from Nike? Or just take insoles from another pair you own and switch them each time.

$100 is a steal IMO.

Yeah $100 is a steal for those. Throw them in the washer and spray them with some Lysol afterwards to kill off any remaining bacteria. Then either buy a new pair of insoles or just use some from another pair of Racers that you have. Good as new.

To homie w/ the insoles. Buy a pair from finsihline or footlocker or something, take the new insoles and put them in the used shoes. Take newly purchased shoes back to a different store, get the refund. New insoles for free.99.
