Fellas, I know all the talk is about oreo 2.0 but I need some advice on how to clean these pick-ups.

I know about putting them into a pillow case and removing the laces and in-soles but what product works great to clean them?  I would like to pre treat them before  I throw them in the wash (gentle cycle?)
I clean my flyknits using this product called ReDeadstock.  They sell shoe cleaners with brushes along with other items for our kicks.  The products work very well on the soles and flyknit material as long as you use the right brush.

Check out  www.redeadstock.com ... very fairly priced and works great.

Yesss my order from Eugene Nike Store just shipped via FedEx

will definitely check this out.  repped.

Im sure I could just use  wash detergent, or something we have at home alread, like mixing oxy plus detergent or something like that.

just chatted with a nike rep about why my order still says "submitted".

she said "it appears the product was out of stock when the order was processed..."

I'm normally just a lurker but I also chatted with a rep today who told me "Due to the high volume of orders, we are making sure that we have enough inventory for each order. You will receive a confirmation email when that does get shipped out to you."

I use Jason Markk.

Size 12 game royal/pink for $165 on a reddit sneaker sale forum I came across. Not sure bout condition, etc tho.

we've done the math on this guys..

On a $200 shoe

ebay takes $20 (10%)

paypal takes $6 ( 3%)

shipping call it $10

doesnt look so good now doesnt it

that's my point

you pay $150 +tax and even if you sell the shoe for $200 you net zero.. which is a total waste of time for the seller...and sucks for us buyers because we have to pay a $50 mark-up so someone else doesnt take an L

I'm all for a free market economy..just sucks to be on the receiving end sometimes! lol

@easyco On a side note, nice pickups!  If I remember correctly looks like that white/black and black/white set of trainers was from eBay right?  I remember watching that set on eBay for something like $500, black sz11 and white sz11.5.  I always wondered if it was a NTer who copped.

For the cleaning, Jason Markk works well, though IMO I think liquid detergent or Palmolive works just as well, smells good still, and is much cheaper.

like always failed on all online release, hate to buy from reseller but is 210 shipped for a size 13 a bad idea?

I think that's decent. People seemed to reach the consensus that $200 was fine because after tax, you're not paying much more. I'd try for $200 since 13s aren't that popular. People usually just buy it for resale anyway.

Good points... I think another culprit is just the multiple fees you get from eBay,Paypal, etc. (10%, 2.9%, plus shipping). Take those out and who knows how much regular "markups" would be... +$20? I'd be all for paying an extra $20 on top of retail for highly sought after shoes if it meant I didn't have to waste time (1-3 hrs) on release days

Ill take a look.

Nah bro, local craigslist. Size 9.5 and 10.

I'll trymild detergent

it's not a $200 shoe
it's $150
plus tax at 9% = $163.50

given the eBay/pp fees and shipping at $200
the total profit he would make is .50
which is what he deserves.
This is why people go direct through Paypal using ebay - even though theyre cracking down on that stuff it's still done all the time.

Oops didn't read your previous post breaking down the fees. Yes, in that case you confirmed what I was thinking. I would attribute an equal amount of blame for inflated prices due to the "system" of multiple fees we see from feebay. :smh:

Best way to clean flyknits is just a quick cycle in the washer. Nothing more, nothing less. Each time works like a charm:

1. Remove laces and insoles
2. COLD cycle with any detergent
3. Air Dry (most important part)

And NEVER put them in the dryer, or else it would look like crumb cakes (a NTer will validate, back in the 100s post of this thread where he posted a pic of the aftermath and it did not look good )
