Ordered a pair of the MC Trainers from RRS Tuesday when sizes 9 and 9.5 popped up. Got an order confirmation yesterday with expected shipment date of July 23rd. Received the dreaded order cancellation email this morning. Anyone else order these the other day and get cancelled?

Yup I thought the whole point was trying to get 2 pairs that look completely different!
This isn't a shoe that you should try to match pairs because they're similar. That's dumb. These are wild. Mismatch!

Received MC's from NTNY today. They look great but my only problem is the toebox. The colors are so different. The left is a majority green and the right is a majority pink.
What do ya'll think NT fam? Should I just embrace it? Haha I don't mind too much but I can see why people are mixing/matching.
Embrace the fact they look different. I think that is what makes them great.

Blessing in disguise that your MC Trainers don't ship until September. You'll be able to look at a bunch of MC Trainer photos in the meantime. Will give you the opportunity to cancel if you don't like them based on the photos.

that is definitely one way to look at it. I think I'm already turned off because of the padding. the one good thing is saving 30 off retail. still, OG trainers cannot be beat.

Padding has turned me off to all future trainers; even the new Blue one that is coming out. Just not the same shoe. And the MC Trainer is straight ugly; the blue midsole throws it all off and the padding ruins the shoe. Could have been executed much, much better, IMO, especially given how the HTM MCs came out.
But, of course, these are only the first wave of MCs so I am sure we will see much better executed cws (akin to the MC Racer, which was done very well).

I've bought a pair from them a month or so ago (after Nike.com introduced the padded version) and I can confirm that you will receive the original unpadded version.

You took the words right out of my mind. I've been saying that since day 1 padded version arrived at my door. It honestly is NOT the same shoe. When you wear unpadded version, you don't feel as if you are wearing sneakers. The feeling is so natural. Once I tried on some padded version, it was instant dislike. The padding is constantly touching my foot reminding me that I am wearing sneakers at the heel area, whereas the rest of my foot feels that natural untainted flyknit feel. No comment on the multi trainer colorway, words cannot describe my feelings towards it.

They will probably be padded depending on the size you ordered. I emailed their sales department back in April after they sold out of common small sizes (8-10.5). They said the buyer will be ordering more pairs of the blk/wht trainers and they should be arriving in the coming months. If they in fact ordered more pairs from Nike, they may be padded. I ordered from RRS and they have sent me both padded and unpadded blk/wht trainers.

Those of us who have a RRS B&M in state are subject to taxes though, which is why you see many people paying ~130 after the 20%.
