Yes. They were the same red and blue pairs that released in Wave 1.
Any pics of those?

I've always thought of the Racer as the ugliest of all the Flyknit models mainly because its disappointing cws, IMHO. However, the Yellow cw pictured above makes them look pretty damn dope. smokin.gif

Which model is best for casual wear? The Lunar 1s are the most available while the others are harder to find.

By casual wear, did you mean for looks or for comfort? I'm sure the general consensus (according to this thread because lunar 1's are not supposed to be talked about here, those have its own thread) racers are more comfortable than trainers although most would prefer the trainer aesthetically. I personally like both models equally as much, but would tend to wear racers more because they are a whole lot 'softer' and more flexible as opposed to the trainers. You will see what I mean if you get to hold both shoes in your hands. Racers are also a tad lighter than trainers are. I've been wearing my orange racers as a daily shoe for the past 4+ months and my feet doesn't like it when i put on any other sneakers, not even the trainers.

It seems like everything eventually hits the outlets for $50... Just gotta be patient.

IDs hit the outlet at 39.99.

Shoes that sell pretty well (unless b grade) won't hit 50.

I used to go to the outlets like 3 times a week lol

I've seen flyknit lunar 1s for 99.99, nothing less.

I mean for comfort casually because I know aesthetically, its just a matter of opinion. Thanks, Ill look into the racers.

I've owned all Flyknit models (Racers, Trainers (unpadded and padded) and FL1s) with the exception of the Chukkas and HTMs with the Lunaracer tooling, Despite having Zoom inserts in both the forefoot and heel (Trainer) or just the forefoot (Racer), the dual density Lunar set-up paired with the bottomless carrier in the Flyknit Lunar 1 provides most comfortable feel, imho. Though all Flyknit models (running) can handle a full marathon (26.2mi), I feel that the Trainers and Racers are geared toward the more "serious" runners, as they have a firmer feel, which explains their distribution primarily at running specialty shops. The Lunars, on the other hand, are definitely more WIDELY available, as they're geared toward a larger demographic with the casual runner/walker in mind.

Currently, I own four pairs (3 F1s and 1 Trainer (unpadded)). I never plan on running in the F1s, as they feel amazing on foot and look too nice to get beaten up embarassed.gif. I just copped a Trainer ($63+tax at the outlets with the Labor Day 30% off) that I definitely plan to run in though. I've been running in primarily Lunar for the past two years with a bit of Free and Zoom once in a blue moon, so that may explain why I'm more partial to Lunar over Zoom. Nevertheless, I'm pretty excited to FINALLY give the Trainers a real run to see what they're about.

Got lucky and copped an 11 at NTLA (MC racers). Can't believe I scored a pair. Been on the hunt for way too long.

They still had a 10.5 and 11 (display). Wanted a second pair of size 11 but too much pink on one toe. Wife all of a sudden needed one so scooped her a 5.5. (*shakes fist at the wife!)

Sneakers look nice. Just a weird request from someone to ask

I've used my trainers in the last 2 basketball games I played because my designated basketball shoes are lost, and I like them the best out of any shoe I've played in for a long time. So light and responsive, but I'm scared i'm gonna break my ankle or something from the lack of support
