No, they are a thicker diameter. More similar than the kiwi ones (and probably just as stiff). So far there hasnt been a perfect replacement, even the new balance ones are too thick

 They are beautiful man, but if you are not going to were them then might as well get rid of them 
 
I went tts in the white trainers (padded), but the toe box is a little snug, even after wearing them a handful of times. Will steam fitting loosen them up a bit? or make them even more compact? A half-size up would probably been a better fit for me..

Just be happy you're not a 13.5 like me haha.  The absolute worst since they basically stopped making the size

steaming would only make them tighter. they will keep expanding as you wear them.
 
^ Those laces look very cheerleader-esque. I would stay with the original laces or a solid black shoelace. That's just me, but if you like them, go for it!!
 
Going to rock these when i got my new apartment the 1st September and be fly at the University

So for now they are in the box waiting!!!

One thing i noticed is that i don't feel these so comfy thought

IMO, The White/Black and Black/White Trainers are easily the best on foot Flyknits. Best and easiest Flyknits to wear casually...hands down.

I had my first pair in the box an entire winter before I finally un-ds them on vacation in mexico. 

They get comfier as they break in. The shoe is actually quite supportive for how minimal it is.

Hell no take those laces off asap!! Things make them look like cheerleader shoes and looks like somebody but a car bow on them
