Order got canceled from Nike... I will never understand why they don't ship to Canada.

Now on the look for a pair in size 11.5 / 12 around retail...

my guess for not shipping to Canada is buyers not paying the international fees and packages being returned.  Nike seems to deal with ups and they often add on a significant amount of ridiculous brokerage fees to imported products.

Has anyone tried to do a custom steam fit?

Also, anyone thinking of doing anything to these, especially the lighter colors, like putting scotchguard on them to protect them from dirt?

I run along paths in the city and my shoes get so dusty, would love to find a way to keep these colors bright.

If one of the 11.5s I ordered is too big and you'd be okay with paying like $161 + Paypal + shipping, I'll help you out.  Or if I can get a pair with a discount otherwise.

Never thought about this! It does make sense. UPS brokerage fees are sometimes ridiculous!

Wow thanks a lot! It's the 1st time I see a thread on NT where people help eachother out lol. What color / model?

just called up nike and order a pair on the racer in orange.  I really wanted the volt color ones, but I don't mind owning the orange ones, while waiting for the  volts to come in stock!!!

Thats an even better photo that confirms about the existence of a Flyknit Trainer with a free sole. Here was the original:

I really dislike the color-blocking of that shoe, with the black lines. Makes it look like an Adidas shoe almost.

thanks tjssb, nice they finally put them online!

if anyone else is still looking for volt racers/trainers and you want to try them on first, post your location and maybe someone will be able to help you out with a local specialty running store that is carrying them.

i received my order today. the right forefoot padding of my volt trainers seems to be raised up a little more and i'm debating whether to return them and get another pair or just wear them and hope it goes away. i'm even considering just keeping the racers.

damn they look good. now, who's got some htm racers for me in a 9

Anyone have any advice on how to clean off a scuff on the Flyknit material? I wore mine today and got a scuff on the back from someone else's shoe. Tried using a brush and water, and that helped, but didn't get all of it out.

Received my two trainers and racers. I wanted to get the volt trainers and racers and see which one I liked better in person. I'll sell or return the racer so I can get the black/white or red trainers.

I want 4 colors in the trainers. I'm trying to narrow it down, but I can't! Blue, red, volt, and white. Trainers look more casual IMO.

I thought the trials were only available overseas outside of US?

Try dabbing it with club soda and a towel

First impressions are that they are lighter than expected but also feel like they will have better support than expected. I went tts and got all three in an 11. The trainers fit perfectly while the racers are a touch tight along the toe of the shoe. I will probably wear thinner socks or hope they loosen up a bit. The cushioning is fairly rigid for both shoes and will hopefully soften up after a few miles. But I'm used to running in Lunaracers so that is expected.
Another thing I noticed immediately is that on the racers the medial color of what I am guessing is 'electric green' comes off as black on all the photos I've seen but is not as dark as the photos. Tried to get an example here but all I have is my iphone camera:

Also, people asked for comparison pictures, specifically with the Streaks. I couldn't rotate the pics, sorry I know its annoying.

In comparing them to the Streaks, overall weight is not that much lighter but has a thicker sole so hopefully the cushioning is better. The heel of the Streaks is higher which actually dug into my achilles. The racer is much lower. They are both narrow, with the racer having a slightly wider toe box and narrower heel. The knitted material on the Streaks is not as rigid and does not give as much support.
Can't wait to run in these after work!!!

Thanks for all the pics! :smokin

I'm thinking HTM Part 4 for those :nerd:

I'd agree.
