Haha.  Thanks for acknowledging that I take photos of my flyknits, at least.  Fortunately, I just acquired the total orange racers thanks to a fellow NT'er from this thread.  Best believe... when I un-ds them... shots will be taken!

I have no idea why, and I KNOW it shouldn't matter, but those flat laces on all racers and trainers now just kill it for me. I will have to swap out any future purchased pairs with the old laces. I know they aren't better, but to me they just look more "true" than the flat ones. Almost as if the flat laces came off a different shoe and were swapped into them as an afterthought. Guess its also how I feel about the added padding.

I know the flat laces don't look as good as the skinny oval ones, but I think the reason why they changed it was because of performance issues. I've ran both in my volt racers(oval laces) & MC racers and I've found that the flat laces are more comfortable than the oval laces. I felt like with the oval was that it was engraved into my feet, or maybe I just tie my shoes really tight when I go for a run. But with the oval laces It felt more natural when I tied them up real tight. But idk that's just my 2 cents. But I do prefer the oval laces than flat for performance, look wise; I prefer the oval.
