Can't figure out if the USA Athletes are wearing the Volt Trainers or the Racers? Or maybe both...

Not sure, but they sure pop on TV.... Nike is absolutely winning this Olympics with all of their volt shoe collection + USA podium jackets.

cant remember if there were posted...

Hey for anyone lookin still...came up with the bright idea finally to call around to a NT and found out NTNY still had pairs & will ship out now. I got my trainers in a 10.5 & he said they had "plenty"
Just a heads up for those like me that need a different size.
That's very tempting.. I just want one of the black / white CWs for running.

Also good reviews guys! I've only run in Frees so far and I'm very interested to see the differences.

nice HTMs! im sure no one cares how he got them, so quit complaining. you sound like my 4 year old complaining when you take his transformers away :smh:

Can anyone help me out and go grab a pair from NTNY in the Black Trainers with the White toe in a 10.5? I would rather pay through PayPal at the moment.
PM if you can help.
Thanks fellas.

You typing about these?:

If so, my local running store might still have them. Ill swing by there today.

I've put 20 miles in so far and overall I am really happy with the shoes. My one down side is that my calves are killing me. Anyone else getting this? I am used to running on Lunars so I am wondering if I am not used to the zoom.

It's most likely due to the flyknits having a lower heel to toe drop (difference in height between the heel and the toe) than most Nike running shoes. The smaller the drop, the more stretch your Achilles gets and the more work your calves have to do. Most traditional running shoes have a 12 millimeter drop. For example, Free run 5.0s have a 8 mm drop. 3.0s have a 4 mm drop. I haven't seen the official measurements, but if I had to guess, the racers are prolly in the 4-6 mm range and trainers are prolly 6-8 mm. That's how they felt to me.

really wish the first htm trainers weren't so limited, hard to find, and priced so high.  i'll probably be looking for a 9 for a long time...

Head's up Swooshers, Trainers and Racers are back up on discount. Looks to be all small sizes though. Hoping they restock the white trainers soon with the discount...

Just ordered the last size 11 of the Volt Trainer at NTNY. They were already sold out of sizes 10 and 10.5. Not sure what sizes they had in the other colorways...

A little heads up for my fellow Flyknit folk. I just ordered the volt trainers from Finishline and somehow was able to use a reward AND a 20 off 100! Total came to 120 something and I had a gift card. Wound up getting them after the giftcard for $30 2nd day air! If u have a reward and a 20 off goto Finishline with the product number and order. They have color codes

hi,

I went to finishline store and try to stock locate the trainers, however, the employee said that they are not even in the system to order?  can you explain how you were able to get them to order the shoes?

I wonder why nobody else is getting the Nike Flyknits. I thought Nike wanted these shoes to be the "next big thing". That isn't going to happen if nobody has an opportunity to buy them. I got the white/black, all black, and the volt/black racers. But I really want the black/white trainers. Nike.com no longer has my size. Luke's Locker only carried the volt/black racers. And road runner sports near DC only carries the orange racers but don't have my size. I thought this was going to be a wider release?
