Yeah, I didn't know about it until 40-minutes after they dropped. Someone tweeted a photo from their IG account notifying followers, I rushed to check and saw only an 8 left. I'm looking for another pair of those and trainers.

Listed for a considerable amount above retail, and still sold quickly.  Crazy.  The hype is real.

I hope Nike doesn't do to the flyknits what they did to roshes.  They retro'd original colorways only a year after initial release!
 
So if the padded version of trainers come with "ribbon" laces, what laces come with the unpadded version?

My black/white pair are padded and have the "ribbon" laces and I'm def not a fan. Seem to come untied fairly easily.

I believe they are the fat/medium laces. People mentioned buying these laces, which I did and I love em'.  It was replaced with ribbon because people complained about them become untied while running and what not.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post ebay links here but they were posted in regards to laces before, so here you go. I bought it from here. Also in regards to length, I forgot what length, maybe someone can chime in on this post.

Thank for that info.

I think the flat ribbon laces do go with the shoe better tho. As mentioned, they flow better with the slim profile of the shoe.

My only complaint with the flat ribbons is they seem to untie a little too easily.

Are the rope laces that come with them straight from Nike that thick as the aftermarket ones you picked up tho?

Yeah, wasn't feeling that price increase either. I beiieve this was a late, late shipment....so you raise the price? :smh:
 
Power seller on ebay had a few white flyknit trainers for a decent price earlier today ($175 shipped).. saw a couple size 10's and others but picked an 8.5 up for myself. he also has size 9.5 sequoias for $155 if anyone is interested

I like using my flat ribbon laces on my Racers. And like someone mentioned, they're New Balance.
