Thanks guys. I finally managed to buy White Flyknit Trainer+ in size 4.5. Do you guys know where I can find Black Flyknit Trainer+ in size 4.5 by any chance?
 
Sometimes sites can put up the wrong product pic or sample pic they were given by Nike. Remember what happened with the black/white racers. I too think the picture is indeed the pair on RRS pre-order.

I take back what I said. I checked out my local nike store, they just got this colorway today. Its a white with volt swoosh, and the one pictured is the inner panel. IMO, pretty weak colorway. Needs more contrast. 
 
anyone know when that new batch of racers is supposed to drop here in the states?  Sitting on $300 in Nike gift cards, and figured I would spend on those.

Anyway you could snap a few photos? These just got so much better -  I was obviously expecting something like the Cheeto Racers

kind of disappointed that rrs shipped these in a plastic bag and took out all the tissue to minimize shipping costs. I need toebox therapy. I guess that's the trade-off when you get them for 120

I've never had a problem with their shipping, my boxes are always crispy.
 
If it was a random returned pair & was on sale (Not VIP price) I might not complain, but the fact that they have a FSR of these there is no excuse for you not receive your shoes in the proper packaging. That is not very "VIP" to me. I have purchased random returned pairs of old colorways & they at least sent them to me in a Road Runner Sports box (which is quite nice in quality.) I would give them a call & let them offer an explanation & then a discount. Bad enough they ship in plastic bags but to not ship a box to save fees (if that is indeed the case) would have me upset. They need to either give a discount or denote that the shoe does not come with a box.
