TWO NEW Racer CWs!!

VIA CK

BTW: Also via the Editor of CK- John Brilliant- "Bigger shoes breaking today. Stay tuned... RT @CounterKicks: Exclusive: Nike Flyknit Racer In Two New Colorways http://bit.ly/NnlNi0" - From twitter
thanks. i'm hoping these are just bad pictures and the colors are actually these ones:

the kenyan pair isn't the greatest pic, but the red is much brighter than the pic from CK.

Yeah, you definitely won't feel the same plushness, if any, in the FlyKnits.
Regarding the soles, that's correct. The Lunar Ones have the same "Bottomless Carrier" sole technology as the LG4s and LunarEclipses. It's a two piece construction system, where the a portion of the firm Lunar foam outsole/carrier is cut out in the forefoot. That portion is replaced by the soft Lunar foam that's also extends from the midsole, and it provides more cushioning in the forefoot.
By Neutral, you mean you don't overpronate nor supinate, correct?
I'm pretty sure the Lunar Ones are meant to be a Stability shoe given the LG4 sole. I'm thinking they'll feel similar to the original LunarTrainer. They don't have any plushness around the ankles, yet they offer a pretty cushioned and responsive ride.

Illy do you own a pair of flyknits right now or are you waiting for the lunar version?

Thanks, but they don't seem to know how to answer a phone. I've called 8 times and they all went to voicemail.

Same here. I have never been able to get though to an actual employee.

I was really surprised that they answered my calls lately! Maybe I should try my luck at the lottery.

Nope. I've tried them on and all, but I'm really waiting on the Lunar Ones.

Here is the link to a very interesting read on Flyknit technology and the future of possibilities:

Excellent article. The possibilities seem truly endless really with the FKs.

Yea, I don't overpronate or supinate... I think you helped me answer my own question. I just had to pay closer attention to how Nike categorizes its shoes...the FlyKnit Trainers are under their "neutral" heading and as you mentioned, the LG4 and LunarEclipse (and looks like the LunarOnes) are for "stability"...

I guess I'll have to see if the Trainers will have enough cushioning...Vomeros are dreamy and all but I feel like I'm gonna tip over

I really hope the black pair is this color-way. When this Racer color-way was first posted, I thought is was black/white, now I see that it is a black/gray/white. Hopefully it is the same.

Wow I would love to have racers in black and white. If this is true, I may have to purchase them...The volt was too flashy for me...

There is certainly room for some flyknits in neutral colourways.

Would love to see a winterised version bonded to a goretex membrane to keep out the wet. Hell, maybe even a pair knitted with kevlar thread that could be used for trail running.

My first critique of these sneakers was so off.
I wore these sneakers casually a couple times and I love them, they are light and comfy.
They have decent cushion and are very breathable.
I will be racking up.

Just picked up my volt trainers. I sized down .5 and they fit awesome. Lunar cushioning would be better but the zoom gets the job done. I like the color blocking on these more than the lunars too. Also I talked to an employee at Fleet Feet and in the near future they will be implementing a steambox that would mold the flyknit to the shape of your foot. :smokin

Jumped on these late so I'm a bit foggy on what retailers actually have flyknits in stock.

I'm going to hit 21 mercer tomorrow and try my luck with their stock on the volt and red trainers.

Un DS'd these today. Big fan. Sleek, comfy, light. Definitely considering getting another CW to just stash away for later use, these are great. Thanks again to the NT'ers who offered to help out.

They only have volts 7.5-8.5 and a 13. Red trainers, I don't know. I doubt they'll have your size. They only did the phone order thing to get rid of what they had left in stock.
