I would go with the trainer then. There is more support and cushioning. The racer is nice but not a ton of cushioning and fits narrow. I like running in it but I am not a distance runner, would probably not run more than a 10k in it personally. The downside to these shoes is that the are selling so fast you cant try them both on in store to test them.

Finally ordered a pair of the Orange Trainers from Finishline. Can't wait to get them and try them out. I really wanted the volts, but the orange were a close second for me.

Footworks is a legit spot real cool people working in there, grabbed my size
10 with ease. I talked to them and they should be getting more in and they
do phone orders. As of today they had volt racers and trainers, and black and white
trainers.

Damn, now I have to get those black white trainers. I just had an idea for customizing them.
this shoe is getting pricey!!
 
Just placed a phone order for the blue/black trainers above...never noticed that colorway before for some reason and wasn't really crazy about the other colorways minus the HTMs which are impossible to get. Thanks for posting those clean pictures and making me drop 150 lol.

I know there was a stock of Flyknits on the FNL website. Has any flyknit trainers popped up in FNL retail locations?

I think engineered mesh is like a fabric flyknit upper instead of the stuff they use on flyknits

There's a definite difference in material/knit between the Flyknit and the Lunarglide 4 for example. From those pics, that Lunaracer 3 looks like the material is similar to the Lunarglide 4 and not a Flyknit.
 
can someone post some on feet pictures of the orange trainers please? and for anyone that has a pair, is the orange more dull or is it more bright in person compared to pics?
 
I was visiting NYC and took a cab to Time Square and when I got out of the cab I saw a pair of volt trainers in the window of some random running store and I had to snag, they also had racers, store was called Super Runners Shop, I saw the black white colorway too. I also saw some at the niketown off of 5th
