Racers have zoom in the forefoot, while trainers have both heel and forefoot.

But I agree with what you said about the zoom and phylon midsole being more subtle than lunarlon.
Thanks knew it was one or the other

Yeah people always say lunar is amazing and so much better than zoom, but it is only because they can feel it so too most its the most comfiest. Performance wise I believe they are the same

$210 for Black/White Racers is cool now? They were sitting on NDC clearance for half of that just a few months ago.

I wasn't on the racer train back then... I'm all aboard now though :nthat:

I have more racers than trainers now since I can't get any of the hard to find trainers, I'm still on the :nerd:

Hopefully Nike puts out more trainer cw's that don't suck and are unpadded 8)

Had a dream last night that I was wearing the MC Trainers- must be a sign from the sneaker gods. Hah. Guess I'll have to bump them up to my next pair on my "must have" list.

I haven't posted collection shots in a long while, but for me it was the new tech. it was just so drastically different than anything else out there. and once I tried a pair on it was a wrap, the comfort was just dumb

Co-sign!

I tell everyone the flyknit concept reminds me of when the first AM95 came out when I was in 8th-9th grade... The design of the AM95 was something that you've never seen before and was beautiful IMO and the heel to toe air bubble was AMAZING!!!

After 15+ years of buying/collecting/selling shoes you learn to appreciate the details these designers put into their work!!

Tried the MC ones at finishline today. Look's great but not for me. The toe box width just doesn't do it for me. Looks too stubby.
if they're anything like their predecessors, then I probably won't like the fit. we'll see when I try them in person. that's probably good so I can just save the funds for future Racer releases.

any downsides to wearing trainers without insoles? copped white/black trainers for a steal price but a small size on me. they kinda fit without insoles though. im not running in em, just wearin casually..but any negatives at all?
That extra layer of comfort and the ability to absorb sweat and odor.  Honestly, if you have to modify the shoe in order to wear it.....you probably shouldn't wear it at all.

Would someone care to tell me how is the comfort in the Flyknit Racers?  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read that they use Zoom Air as the primary cushioning system.  Is it full Zoom? Heel and forefoot?  How do they compare to Lunarlon?  I've never had Zoom Air in running shoes before, so I'm not sure what to expect with Racers.  Thanks!
Forefoot Zoom Air only.  It's firmer than Lunarlon, but still comfortable.  If you plan to use these shoes for running, just know they are not forgiving if you over-pronate and heel strike.

I see alot of links being posted with some nice pairs for sale. Anybody know where I can pick up Flyknit Trainers in White/Black, Black/White, Red/Black sz 11-12 for a decent price? All I have been able to find is ebay and they are super taxed. I remember someone directed a buddy of mine to a store that actually still had them all and was doing phone orders about a month back, he can't find the info. Thanks in advance!

black/white sometimes pop up on nike.com.

White/black - reseller
Red- reseller

The colors you are looking for were release like 2 years ago. Best bet is to look on craiglist.

Dude selling Black & White Trainers for $190 not sure if unpadded or padded would email him if anyone is a size 12

For people looking for the orange racers and orange trainers, TC running has them both for retail. I' didn't ask about the sizes available since it wasn't a color I was on the hunt for.

For anyone curious, I contacted Nike Support about the Nike Free 4.0 release tomorrow. There are 5+ colors releasing, but they do not the specific colors. Hope the multi-color shows up.

Since we don't know if they're actually releasing, or what the availability is like, it'd probably be a good idea to start searching for the style code tomorrow morning. Rather than wait for Nike to tweet the link or for them to show up on the New Arrivals page. Here's the style code:

631053-004

The Women's DC Frees were supposed to release at 8am but they were available at 7:45 (and probably earlier) and most "good" sizes were gone by the time everyone realized it. So it'd probably be a good idea to keep an eye out starting at around 7:30. Your best bet (and what I'm gonna do) is to use a page monitor on the style code search page.
