The blue racers are as close as I'm ever coming to the HTM racers, so count me in! Many months from now. Probably when it's cold outside. Which means they'll sit in a box for months.

My sentiments exactly.

I really do wish Nike would release more CW's of the Racer though. What ever happened to that white CW that was posted a couple of months back?
 
Thanks for the pics LAOKRATWR. It's too bad the yellow pair doesn't look closer to this. At least give us some contrasting colors instead of what looks to be a few shades of yellow.

Got trainers in from rrs
went TTS and these fit perfect without socks.
Will probably be a bit snug with socks but they'll stretch so i'm not worried.
 
Is it just me, or do those blue Racers resemble the USA colorway posted on the first page?  I'm definitely going to look into those when they release, I love that shade of blue.

Ordered the volt racers from Luke's, when the package arrived it had a pair of neon green trainers in in the volt racer box. Anyone else get there order from Luke's? Any problem?

I actually just got my package from Luke's too, and I received the correct pair (Volt racer's). I have ordered from them 3-4 times now and I haven't had any problems
 
the "Light Bulb" yellow Holiday '13 look fresh as heck. probably a lot better when seen in person. the '13 holiday blue ones are a must cop for sure.

A little hard to tell with Nike's stock photos and without knowing the colorway, but they seem similar to the turquoise trainers.

Figured I'd finally stop lurking around and contribute to this thread after it being useful for so long...

So I managed to get a hold of a pair of Flyknit Wear Test samples called the London Elite. Story goes these were given to athletes backed by Nike. These came from a runner that competed in the London games which is pretty cool.

I haven't got a pair of the Racers but judging from what I can tell these use the Racer sole unit/last and are just a bit different in the actual knitting pattern. The main difference I can tell is the actual softness of the knit, with the whole shoe much more akin to a sock than the Trainer/Lunar 1 that I've got.

I took a pic of the whole shoe collapsed into itself to demonstrate it, without a foot or stuffing the whole thing sags aside from the heel counter which is reinforced. The result is astonishingly comfortable however I'm sure there's some sort of compromise in durability.

Anyway thought you might find some interest in them, I sure do!
