$330 for volt racers?! Definitely not a good buy... that's about $100 too much.

Those were definitely worn also you can tell by the wrinkles in the toe area.

My ds game royals that I got from NDC have those same wrinkles, and I haven't worn them yet (no warm weather yet)

400

yea, I've received new from nike flyknit racers and trainers with a little crinkle in the toe area. Doesn't necessarily mean they are worn, but it's a possibility. Ask him to send you pics of the insoles and bottom soles.

Anyone know how to steam racers?

Just hover the steamer around the shoe (or area) and you'll see the flyknit shrink. After the flyknit has shrinked. Put your foot in. Then just wait a couple minutes for the flyknit to dry and stabilize. This method gives your flyknits a more personalized fit.

does this also restore the shape of the flyknits too? got some trainers where the toe is starting to sink in.

does it hold up pretty well or will it stretch back out over time?

anyone got pics of them post steam?

Yes they hold pretty well. Of course over time with wear, flyknit will stretch. And you just have to re-steam it.
It's useless to have a post steam pic. They'll still look like a flyknit shoe. The steaming process makes the shoe fit better for the owner and have a personalize fit.

Yes it does if you have a proper mold for the shoe when it dries up. So the whole steam process, you steam the shoe, and the Flyknit shrinks. Within a minute, slide your foot in and the flyknit will stretch and mold to your foot. Wait a couple minutes for it to dry, then the flyknit locks the shape. So it fits better.

Toe box wrinkles are normal for unworn racers.  I agree that 200 for ds volt racers is the MAX you should pay.  They pop up on ebay from time to time

What's the max you should pay for VNDS volt trainers (Size 10.5)?

what would be a good amount back for a "partial refund." The original listing he had said 9/10, but it literally is a solid 7/10. I paid 275 altogether. Inside tags almost ripping, mark/stain on right toe box, faltering toebox shape, chipping along sole on both l & r pairs....

how would I go about talking about it with him? tbh I don't want really want to run into confrontation but then again the shoes the dude sold me are clearly not in the condition he listed them as. Does he have a case against me even if I did look at additional photos prior to purchasing?
