Don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it, just makes copping some things harder than they were before. Not gonna tell other dudes what to spend their cash on lol
 
the tongue comparison pic look a bit funny to me but it could be the angle the pic was taken. Besides that they look legit to me.

Yea,280 for racers are a bit high. I'm sure if you wait it out you can find a pair cheaper, but there's also a chance you don't and the prices increase. I highly doubt it w the red racers though. At least it shouldn't increase in the near future.

Well I'm a size 9-9.5 and we all know those are the harder sizes to come by. All the 9.5's are 298-299 on eBay.

Really? Because everyime i try to cop a pair on NDC the 9, 9.5 are always gone lol. But i think i might fit in a 8.5 on the racers since they're unpadded. The 9's still have a bit of room for my feet, plus doesn't the Flyknit stretch as well?

I buy all my racers from RRS.  VIP saves you a bit and most of mine have come out to $120ish.  Racer prices on ebay are ridic now days.  Not even worth browsing.

Just because they make the most in those sizes doesn't mean that they're easier to get. They determine their quantities based on market demand and those ones are typically the most popular/sought after.

Yes, but they also have the most resold pairs on sites as well. It might be dry now, but usually when a sneaker drops, the 9, 9.5 are easier to attain in after market
