Don't know about you all with Road Runner VIP accounts but I plan on keeping mine after the initial year is up. The $25 renewal would be well worth it. Especially considering all the money I've saved building my Flyknit collection through them. The Flyknit release schedule is looking very promising down the road and here's to hoping RRS gets at least more than half of them.

to help you out a bit, the black/WHITE are trainers and the red/black are racers, so you are looking at 2 different shoes with different aesthetics.

personally i think trainers are better looking and better for casual wear.

ok so it sounds like the newer batches come with the thick heel padding. probably a way to differentiate them from the original release of the trainers. much like how they replaced "nike air" with jumpman for the jordans.

I've put off buying a pair of flyknit racers for a long time. I kept saying once my running shoes reach beat dead. Well the time has come.

Is there a release expected to drop soon on the racers? I know they usually sell out pretty quick, just trying to prepare and get info for when a new release is coming.

There is extra padding on that grey pair of racers compared to the volt/orange/red pairs? I know it's hard to see because everything is black, but I'm not really seeing it.

Can anyone else with the grey racers confirm? GRANDIN? I honestly can't imagine racers having the extra padding as they are perfect as is.

my bad my bad,there is no extra padding on these,just checked it,dont know why i thought it had extra padding,lol.

I know this was already covered pages back but i can't find it. I want to clean my white and black trainers with a cleaning solution. Someone was talking about a cleaning agent that was worth over 20 dollars. Anyone have a clue as to what i can use

For those still asking about sizing, simply put:

TTS in the Racers. If you go a half size down, they're uncomfortable.

Half-size down in the Trainers. If you get your true size, they fit horribly.

Take it from someone who hates seeing different sizes in his closet lol. Trust me you want to have the right fit in the Flyknits..

Pretty much on point. Lemme expand on that a little. If you get the earlier, non padded Trainers, go .5 size down. If you get the newer, padded Trainers, go TTS.

I also went half size down in the Racers and have no problem. They fit like a glove but have a little wiggle room in the toes.

the blk/wht and the wht/black seem to be the only ones that got the padded heel treatment on the later batches.

false, i browsed the pics that were posted in this thread and it looks like the pink flash trainers and the teal/volt (with white swoosh) trainers have padding.
