Going to test with my red chukkas tonight. Feel weird about putting dirty shoes in a clean pillow case, but whatever. :lol:
 
When i put shoes in the washer, I just spray some oxiclean/spray n wash and toss them in with a handful or two of rags. Come out :smokin everytime
 
I've done the pillow case and without. To me, it's the same unless you have a crazy washing machine. But the pillow case or laundry bag is the safe option.
 
Well I tried the washer method and it didn't work. Don't know if I should've used more detergent or have the delicate cycle on high. But the midsole/soles are still dirty, mind you I haven't worn the red chukkas for about 2 years now so some of the dirt is probably harder to come off now.

Then good thing I "thought about ordering" otherwise it sounds like you would've been offended. I read every page and I saw your post, that's why I said I thought about ordering In the morning when I posted the coupon, before you made your call. Btw you didn't mention if they said every size is out of stock. Either way, I said I wasn't going to pick up the Seahawks pair from RRS, did you bother reading that?

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser worked fine with mine.
 
Just picked up the brave blue/ poison green aka seahawks colorway from RRS. My first pair of racers, kicking myself for not buying a pair sooner, comfort is amazing.

Yeah I slept not getting a backup pair. I wear mine a lot once the weather gets nice, though only casual wear so my pair is still in great condition. Probably going to clean a bunch of my Flyknits for the first-time this weekend before this Miami trip.

Pre-treat the tough stains and throw them in the washer. Works wonders.

I don't use a pillowcase. Just let the washer start filling up with the cold water, throw the detergent into the water, then throw the shoes right into the water (laces and insoles removed first). I use about half a cap full of detergent for 2-3 pairs. :smokin

Haha well you're not going to pick them up because, "they aren't available until October" according to the rep I talked to....YMMV.  Was just trying to save some people the hassle of dealing with their CSR. Like I said, I even provided them the Nike SKU so there wasn't any confusion. You could prob call now and get a different rep who will tell you that they're in stock and available for immediate dispatch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
