why the hell are u dropping 310 when it hasnt even gone online yet.. even if u miss out online the resale price is going to fall down to 2xx so why pay 300 right now??

for real man? Thats steep for a shoe that hasn't really been released in full. I mean really, do you think after its all said and done, these are going to fetch close to $350?

At $310, I'd wait it out.

Yeah, this is nuts. These aren't a tier-zero hyperstrike. They've released at a handful of stores (at best) in the US so far. I understand wanting them but double retail given the circumstances is nuts.

Why's everybody getting so riled up about this guy spending $310? it's his money, let him be dumb with it.

no, of course not. This one guy won't dictate resell price. But this beast will just keep building and building.

It makes zero sense to spend that money right now. Zero. But actually, it makes zero sense for the guy who's selling to pass on $310.

I wouldn't sell my pair for $300, but i don't need the extra dough. And I hate myself for even thinking of not selling my pair if someone offered me $300+. I think 80% of those who have a pair would gladly take that $300+.

I agree it makes absolutely no sense in my mind to pay $310 for a $150 shoe. But there will always be people that are willing to pay whatever the price is and you can't fault the seller for accepting.

i don't think anyone is faulting the seller. Gotta get that money if you can get double what you paid, FOR SOME RACERS THAT HASNT EVEN RELEASED FULLY.

Here's the thing, this site is about helping out. I think it helps to tell others to wait it out and not take the plunge. Gotta talk people off the ledge sometimes. In my size (11), I'm seeing some on ebay go for $280 shipped.

Are these really going to be that much more sought after than the black and whites? I think those can be had for $250, right?

So one guy paying more is going to drive up the entire market?

Nope. As others have said, a single buyer will not establish the market. But when prices like that are being paid before the shoes even see a wide release, that will influence other sellers. And if other sellers start listing them at around the same price and people think they have to pay that to make sure they get a pair, then it spirals out of control. Ultimately if someone wants to pay $300+ for these, that's on them. It's their money. But it just feeds into the cycle if you're offering up that much money before the shoes are available in more than a handful of stores.

Ok I got you, good point with the helping out of other members.

Ya I get that when people see a shoe selling for X amount they think they have to pay that much and then sellers eventually all jack up their prices. But as much as it sucks there will always be people willing to pay whatever the amount is.
