just assumed nike trained their store employees to act like kanye, smile and pretend to be nice when handling funds and ignore/smug you the rest of time 

everytime i ask a different employee to see if they offer  loyalty program  just for a response and every single time they just laugh hysterically 
 
It really doesn't, you act like these people are given an abundance of labor to deal with the work. The smugness about not working in retail also says a lot about your opinion of those people.

An average corporation of that size spends less than 4% of its monthly gross at the store level on employee pay, and nearly half of that goes to managers and assistant managers, This means most stores are run lean with no extra help to do daily tasks, there are other things to do at the store besides checking customers out.

So if you call to complain it's not about the floor employee but the decision by a corporation to maintain labor at levels that are unacceptable to you as a customer.

What exactly did I say that lends any support to this statement? I get better service at my Best Buy and that place is always a **** show...:stoneface:

This is apparently justified due to them only being paid minimum wage...
 
Take that ish to pm's, but definitely on Arsonists21 side. I expect great customer service everywhere I go. Any less than that is unacceptable.

I never said that I expect great customer service but that they just DO THEIR JOB especially when there are only 3 customers in the store and 5+ employees on the floor...

I'm done with this so I wish everyone good luck on the release this AM...

you think nike could pay them more and the smugness might fade but honestly the nicest guys are always the hulking security guards, they are usually sweethearts

^^^ ribbon laces IMO. Still can't believe they didn't release those. I was in this thread waiting for info for the longest time when they were rumored to release.
